Steem is a digital currency used on the Steemit platform. You have the option to either cash out this currency or stake it in your account, which is then referred to as "Steem Power". The more Steem you stake or in other words, the more you power up your Steem, the more recognition and support your account will receive.

To increase your influence on this platform, you need to power up your account. However, it doesn't necessarily mean that you should power up all your Steem.

If you wish to cash out some Steem, you can do so while being part of Club5050 or Club75, but it's generally better, especially for newbies, to focus on building your account and increasing your reputation score.

My advice is to avoid withdrawals until you reach the 1st Dolphin status. However, this is just my opinion, and others might hold different views.

My target steem power and why it matters to me

As for me, I always set small, achievable goals that gradually lead me towards my main objective. As a novice Steemian, my current goal is to somehow achieve 5000 Steem Power by the end of this year. This will allow me to join the Dolphin Club, which would significantly motivate me, giving me a sense of reward for my hard work.

Currently, my Steem Power is approximately 1300 SP, so I believe that achieving this goal within the next seven months is feasible. I have faith that my diligent efforts will yield results. I want to have as much Steem Power as possible so that I can play my role on this platform more effectively, and help others.

My goals and strategies for using my Steem power

My desire is to use my Steem Power to vote for others, thereby benefiting them. In this way, I can support those who create excellent content and need support.

As for delegation, since I am a newbie myself and have less Steem Power, I do not intend to delegate at the moment but yes in future I’ll definitely think about delegation because through delegation I can support other communities and projects that are commendable in my eyes.

My sources and methods of earning Steem power

I’m always striving to improve my content in order to get more votes and increase my Steem Power. I also participate in Steem engagement challenges where I sometimes receive votes from big curators like Sc01 and Sc02. Additionally, I engage with others' posts by commenting and upvoting, thereby increasing my interaction. In turn, I receive votes from those who appreciate my comments.

I’ve noticed that if I upvote others or comment on their posts then they also vote for me, read my posts and give their feedback.

Whenever I save up some money, I purchase Steem from the Binance exchange with my money to power up my Steemit account. I've also adopted a strategy of creating a Powerup post and sharing it as soon as I accumulate 100 liquid Steem. This is to inspire other Steemians and encourage them to power up their accounts as well.

I believe that if I continue to improve my content and consistently power up my account, my Steem Power will certainly increase. I remain hopeful and committed to this goal.
