Hi everyone, my friends! I am happy to make my first post this year and to participate in this contest that talks about delegation. I am grateful to @steemkids for this contest and for always coming up with amazing contest from which we learn alot from. I invite @sheban, @mtasha, @imoh1 @madilyn02, and @victoreffiong to participate.

What is delegation?

To delegate in simple english means to send a representative or something on your behalf to another place or person. For example i can delegate my sister to wash the utensils for me if i am unable to do so at the moment. Or i can send her to the shop to go and take the balance for an item. She represents me as the payer because i have delegated her to do this task. In many countries, the president of that country can be too busy to attend a function in other country and instead delegates the prime minister or the vice president to represent him or her.

However on steemit, to delegate means to give a share of your steem power to another account to be able to help that account carry out massive steem power curation. This means you are lending the second account your steem power for which they can pay you and you can get back anytime later.

What does delegation mean to you?

To me, delegation means i will help my community to have a bigger voting power while i have not given up my steem for good. It means i can get bigger votes too and also get some reward for the delegation at the end of the month. If all members delegate to the community account, the community grows stringer and members may not need to wait for the big curators to give them wonderful votes. They become more independent as the delegation grows.

What does delegation mean to steemkidss?

To @steemkidss, delegation means everything! It means a higher voting power for the community members and he that we are rewarded for delegating to the community.

How can you delegate to steemkidss which is our official account?

I have delegated to steemkidss before and i gave 50 SP although i have not yet seen it on my budge. However, if anyone wants to delegate, you go to the lowest part of the community post and there are links to delegate any amount from 50 SP, 100P, 150 SP, 200SP etc.

You click any amount. It takes you to a page where you put in your user name, and active key, the authorise the delegation.

To see your deleagtion, go to steemworld.org and log in, put your account name and dates you delegated and the community, then search.
