What do you understand to be freedom as a parent or kid?

In my opinion as a mother, freedom is essential to raise children happily and for their own well-being. I'm a mother who can take my own decision and it has helped me a lot through different circumstances. For instance, parents should have the freedom to act according to their own parenting styles. After all, it's our child and as parents, we should show them the path to success and take decisions on what's good and bad for them until they can take their own decision. As a parent, I believe that having freedom allows us to take our child on the right path as per our experience on this journey of life.

What can make you to grant more freedom to your kids or what can you do to earn more freedom?

I haven't had the experience yet, as my son is still small. But I think when a child is at an age where they can take responsibility for their own actions that is the time when we can grant more freedom. As parents, we should be in a state to understand their feelings helping them to build their character.

If we follow the right parenting methods, Parents are the closest bond to their children. And this bond is secured with trust. Both parents and children should be equally trustworthy. Talking and sharing opinions and thoughts closely with the children allows parents to understand whether they are capable of making the right choices in life. Eventually, parents are able to give more space or freedom to their children, still being by their side whenever they want.

Advantages and disadvantages of freedom both to parents and kids

By giving more freedom, parents are able to earn their trust by valuing their children's thoughts and feelings	Giving excessive freedom can bring high risks to children, and finally, parents are to blame.
Parents who give freedom to their children are able to teach them to learn through their own mistakes encouraging their problem-solving skills	Mistakes made without proper guidelines may show the impact of parents' wrong decisions.

Getting more freedom allows kids to know their own capabilities and is a great opportunity to gain self-confidence.	Not having enough guidelines or advice may drag life into a more miserable state.
Understanding each other and gaining freedom brings a feeling that parents are with us anytime.	Misusing parents' trust can bring a lifetime of frustrations in their own life.

What can cause one to lose the freedom he or she has?

Well, I think the misuse of parents' trust brings danger to one's own life and to others. Being irresponsible and taking wrong decisions may cause one to lose the freedom that they once had. Freedom is gained when one keeps the promise of not bringing any trouble to their life or to others. Once it is broken the trustworthiness cannot be regained. Therefore it completely depends on the person whether to break the trust and the character they have built to gain the freedom they wanted.

Why is freedom necessary?

Freedom is the right of all mankind, Just as I need freedom my children need freedom. What is important for a person to understand is to have their freedom responsibly and considerately. Most do not know to use their freedom to bring happiness to their lives. Misusing the freedom of taking own decisions or taking action should not harm any other person's freedom. Freedom is necessary for a person's life to bring positivity wisely and shape their own life for good so that it creates a harmonious environment for everyone around us.
