°Accident: Accident is another problem or challenge we see on transporting our goods, and this is always caused by bad roads or lack of road safety agencies.

°Inadequate facility: this is another problem or challenge we face in transportation of goods, where by the facilities that are required a in road transportation are not there.

°Traffic congestion: Traffic Congestion: Many a while, people spend several hours on the way before they get to where they are going because of traffic jam on our roads.

°Proper maintenance of facilities; If our road network, railway, seaport and so on are taken care of i think that the problem we are having now on transportation will reduce.

°Good maintenance of the means of transport; Solutions cannot be found in acquiring vehicles, ships, and train which are the means of transportation but proper good attention to the private owners and the governments should be given to them.

°Subsidising cost of transportation: Governments can come to the aids of the transporters by giving soft loans to them or subsidising the cost of acquiring the means of transportation.

°Direct investment: Governments should know that the transport business is a capital intensive one. It therefore require direct setting aside of money by the government to purchase and also maintain all means of transportation.

°proper professional training: Various categories of workers in the transport sector are need to be trained. The training should be in form of seminars, talk and so on and based on how the transportation process should be maintained.

°Construction of more roads: This is another method which can help in solving the problem of transportation in the economy, since our population is increasing, the available means of transportation are not just adequate, which makes people to buy their own cars and use it on the road which helps to cause traffic on the road.

°Railway as alternative: Road users are to be encouraged to use railways as an alternative roads, as it will help to reduce traffic on the road.

°Government regulation: There should be proper regulation of transport in Nigeria. For example, the government should fix the fees and levies or transport operators by air and road so that passengers can travel safety.
