Hello my very good friends how are you all i hope all is still going well, how are your days going now, i hope is moving fine and good, and i know very well that how your day is going is far better than of yesterdays own.

Now i will like to be sharing with you guys my own idea on things that consigns drug abuse, now before i start i will like to first explain the meaning of drug, abuse and drug abuse.

What is the meaning of drug abuse

Now before i define drug abuse i will like to first define the meaning of drug and also define what is abuse and from there i can now define drug abuse.

Drug we can easily define drug as a substance which when introduced into the human body can cure or solve many problem in the body.

Abuse we can also define abuse as the over excessive use of something that may harm or cause damages to the human body or that may bring some bad disadvantages to the body or may also bring some advantage to the body.

Drug abuse Drug abuse can be defined as the excessive use of drug without the doctors prescription or justification, which may leads to many things like death e.t.c.

The roles of government in reducing drug abuse

The government has a special role they should always play in order to reduce or stop drug abuse in our different countries or societies and one of the role includes:

The government should always organize or setup some agencies who will help and always make sure that drug abuse are reduced in one way or the other Yes government should try and set up agencies like NDLEA (the national drug law and enforcement agencies) people whose work or primary responsibilities is to handle or control drug abuse in the community.

And also the NMA (Nigeria medical association) the nma should always help to create awareness of dangers of drug abuse in the body.

And i hope very well that this tips will always help to reduce the use of drug abuse in our community today.

State five government policies on drug abuse

The five government policies includes;

(1) The government should always try to control and always monitor the movement of hard drugs, both the importation and exportation of hard drugs from different country.

(2) Secondly the government should always set agencies like NDLEA who will help and fight hard in the country like i said before.

(3) Thirdly the government should always organize a group of people that will be creating awareness about dangers of drug abuse in the human body.

(4) Fourthly the government should always ensure that all they youths in the country has something he or she is managing to avoid idleness that may lead them to have a bad or negative mind thought.

(5) Fifthly The government should always make sure that there are rules guiding the sale of drug in the country, like; the government will say that anybody found selling hard drug will go to jail and the persons goods (hard drugs) will be burnt or set ablaze at the same time and period of time, and you will notice that with that everybody will be afraid to sale or purchase hard drugs and i hope this tips will help in the government policies in reducing drug abuse in the entire country.

List and explain five different ways of reducing drug abuse

We can reduce hard drugs in our country our community with this few ways which includes;

Making good friend it is very obvious that the kind of friend you make determines what you are going to be, like if you make or choose bad friends it is very easy and possible for them to deceive you and also introduce many bad things into your life like hard drugs which we are talking about that are very dangerous to the body or that causes harm to the human body, but if you choose or make good friends anywhere you find your self it very easy that you can learn good things from them and become a good and exemplary person any where you find yourself.

Always try to keep yourself busy always with something good; this is another tip which i can say that it will also help to reduce drug abuse in our society, in order to avoid drug abuse you need to try and look for work to do and always use it to keep yourself busy, because whenever i have also notice it that negative things comes into your mind which is not good, but when you try to force yourself out of that negative thought at that same period of time your mind will not rest in peace until you do that thing which is wrong and you will now start regretting it , but when ever you doing something to keep yourself busy always those nonsense negative thought will not come into your heart. Mean while we should always try to do the right thing at the right time every moment, because an adage said that An idle mind is a devils workshop.

** Forming free drug clubs** this is another method by which we can stop drug abuse in our country by forming free drug clubs, like to form a group that will help people to know all about drug abuse and the dangers it can cause to the human body.

By creating awareness of dangers of hard drugs or drug abuse;

This is the most important method we can use to stop drug abuse in our community or country when we always try to create awareness of dangers of hard drugs in the body and also make sure that people will understand very well that people who smoke or use hard drugs are very eligible to die young.

Acquisition of Coping Skills: this is another method which we can use to stop or prevent drug abuse and some of the skills are;

Decision making
Assertiveness e.t.c

Assertiveness this can be defined as the act or method by which we can decide not to do something and also stand to our decision till the extent nobody will come to and influence you with bad opposite thought of your own and you still stand to your word and not fall.

Decision making this is another method which is under the skills which we can surely define that decision-making can be defined as a method or act of agreeing with something and also stand to the agreement which you promised yourself and nothing can make you to turn away from that decision. And i hope all this tip will also help you to stay away or reduce gard drugs that.
