Good evening my friends in the steemkids community, hopefully all of you are doing well in your daily life, I am grateful to the admin and moderators of this community and also appreciate @steemkidss who initiate this contest.

WHAT IS THE BETTER WAY TO DISCIPLINE A CHILD

Discipline is the act of training someone to obey the regulations, rules or principles of behavior using words or punishment to correct the wrong.

Although I don't have kids to raise for now but I have an effective idea of how I will raise them when i have because I am aware of how my parents discipline me to become a better child for them and to the society.

The Best Way I Think a Child Can Be Discipline

God's word the Bible says train a boy in the way he should go even when he is grows old he will not depart from it. So child training should begin when they were at a tender age, it is parents job to teach their children to behave well and to do this parents needs to spend quality time with their children and they must also have patience and show love when discipline their children.

Jehovah gives parents good and effective direction on how to discipline their children when he says in his words the Bible, father's, do not be irritating your children but go on bringing them up in the way Jehovah want.
So with this advise parents should make sure that they teach ther children God's law and principles that is found in the Bible, this is very important when training a child .

There are other positives discipline that are effective and you teach children and help them to manage their behavior and keep them free from harm.

parents should be a role model for their children they should teach their children throgh thier examples, actions and calm words, teach them right from wrong through their good conduct.

parents should sets consisting and clear rules that children can follow and should explain why he/she set that rules, for example setting rules for curfew and how to carry house chores.

parents should be a good listener, listening attentively to a child is very good and it is important to allow a child to finished what he/ she wanted to say before we help them to solve the problem, also they should correct a child immediately when he/she start to misbehaved.
Paying attention to children is a most powerful way to discipline them because children love and needs ther parents attention the most.
Spanking and abusive words should not be used on a child, using harsh word is not good , it is harmful to a child behavior and doesn't work.

commendations: parents should praised their children when they do good things and when they do bad something they should point it out for them to see and correct them. They should not ignore bad behavior in their children they should tell their children how they should behave and how they should treat others people
That whatever they want other people to do to them they must first of all did it to them. Doing theses will encourage their children to continue and do what is good and shun what is bad.

parents should know the kind of friends his/her child is choosing because bad association always spoiled useful habit, they can help their children to make friends with those who will bring out the best in them.

Is It Good to Beat a Child To Discipline Him/Her

I will say yes, because even the Bible says he who loves a child will lift up the rod and on the other hand it says parents should not be irritating their children. So when using cane to discipline a child parents should be very careful that they did not beat them to the point of wounding them and leaving everlasting Mark on their body.they should not punish a child by staving them.

How My Parents Disciplined Me

I can tell the world that my parents are the best parents, because they Disciplined me with the mental regulations of Jehovah, they used two mode of Disciplined:
First they used principles and laws found in the Bible to Disciplined Me.
Second they used rod and kind words to Disciplined Me, they set good example for me to follow in both their words and actions.
For example they do not tell me not to lie and they themselves practice lying. Yes my parents are my role model , the way they disciplined me brings out the best in me and make me a wonderful person.
