Staying Healthy

In accordance with the World Health Organization (WHO) the word health is

a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being.

More than getting fit and feeling better, staying healthy is about being able to maintain that healthy life. A healthy lifestyle is important for everyone, therefore, being and staying healthy should be part of our overall lifestyle. To stay healthy, they are some regular activities and health tips to help in living a healthy life.

Some vital health tips
  • Always eat breakfast: As a meal that breaks the overnight fasting period, it replenishes nutrients which boost the energy levels and alertness and also provides other nutrients to help begin an active day.

  • Eat fruits and vegetables: vitamins and minerals can be gotten from fruits and vegetables. They are also low-calorie and low-fat.
  • Consume less salt and sugar: increased sugar and salt intake is very harmful to the health. These dietary components as it makes it easier to manage weight and lower diabetes risk. A reduction in the intake of salt equals a reduction in the chances of high blood pressure.

  • Exercise: regular exercise is very important to the maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Exercising improves the brain health and the ability to perform our daily activities. Regular exercise boost energy level while also enhancing a good mood.

  • Regular check-ups:you don't need to be I'll to go for check-ups. Regular check-ups helps to discover any health treats at it early stage especially those with little or no physical symptoms. Detecting an illness early enough increases the chances of an effective treatment.
Importance of staying healthy

The importance of staying healthy cannot be overstated as they come in handy in different situations. Some importance we should know include;

  • Good health tips gives you a better mental feeling.
  • Following health tips to leave and eat better reduces unnecessary expenses.
  • These health tips comes with fewer health problems.
  • staying healthy keeps you free of chronic diseases, like cancer and heart diseases.
  • it improves healthy pregnancies and breastfeeding.
  • Staying healthy helps the digestive system to function well.
