Like every other day, it began with a morning devotion where I prayed I asked God to take charge of the day.
As a group, D'Evergreens Usherette, we were to travel to Abak to serve as ushers at the funeral service of Late Hon Udeme (Peter) Stephen Udomfang (may his soul rest in perfect peace!)
After my morning devotion, I took my bath, got ready and headed out by 6:30am to our rendezvous from where we would move together at same time.
On reaching there, the bus driver hadn't arrived so we had another long hours of waiting until the bus finally arrived and our journey began.

Due to the delay from the bus, we arrived the venue, St. Michael Catholic Parish, Urua Akpan Ibom, Midim, Abak LGA, around 9:45am and by 10:20am, the funeral procession and mass started.
The funeral mass has the presence of prestigious individuals like the Speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Udeme Otong who sympathised with the family of Udomfang over the demise of their son.

When it was few minutes to two, they were done in church and we proceeded to the families compound to serve the guests. For refreshments, the guest were served coconut rice, jollof rice, and Affang soup, all with chicken and fish.

When we were done serving all the guests to their satisfaction and returning all plates, our work came an end.

Leaving the event center around past six, the bus took us back to our meeting point from where we all prayed and dispersed to our various destination.
I came to my hostel where I took my bath, ate a little and slept off. It was a busy day and also a good day.

One thing I pray for each morning is sustainance and his protection and I believe your morning prayer had that point too. D'evergreens user look beautifully dressed, I can see you from here🧐💃💃, After a very hectic day as a usher you took out time to fill yourself with asorted meals which is paramount, I do same too after hectic days.
