Story Time: No Condition is Permanent.
The phrase "no condition is permanent" has never been more realistic in John's life like it is now. It all happened like a magic and just like most magic, it's still very hard to believe.
No Condition is Permanent. |

Coming into this world in a process that claimed the life of his mother, John was nurtured by a single parent (his dad) right from birth. John's dad, Mr Akpan, did a great job in raising John as he turned out to be a really good 18 years old adult.
Though they were not living in abject poverty, they were not doing so good either. Mr Akpan did several jobs to to make ends meet and also make sure John had some form of education. At 18 years old, John already had his hands into several menial jobs. He was very passionate about furthering his education but with the financial state of his family, he couldn't depend on his father to do it all so he had to involved in many menial jobs as well inorder to save enough for his education.

Things were going well enough until Mr Akpan fell terribly I'll and had to be admitted in a good hospital for proper care. This was a very tough time for both father and son who had no one to assist or help out in anyway.
Mr Akpan knew it would take a lot of finance to get him the proper health care he needed, so much finance that his son would have to use up his savings trying to take care of him. Inorder to avoid this, he refused going to any hospital, assuring his son that he would take some native medicines and be fine in no time.
All round the hospital, most people knew him as the nice boy or the nice kid. Many people appreciated him, some prayed for him while others thanked him immensely. Mr Akpan was also happy and proud of his son and this improved his health greatly.
During the course of Mr Akpan's treatment, their financial state became really poor until they were unable to manage the hospital bills.
This development made John very sad as he really wanted his dad to be perfectly fine before leaving the hospital. Unable to cope with the hospital bills, they decided to finish his treatment from home with the little they could afford.
On the day they were to leave, a certain lady, Mrs Hannah, whom John usually run errands for asked after his dad and if he was okay to leave already. John unwillingly explained to the lady about their financial state and why they were leaving earlier than they should. The lady, having been around John a lot to know he was a good and nice boy, decided to take care of Mr Akpan's hospital bills until he was very fine to go home.
Not stopping there, she spoke to her son who worked abroad about John and how good he had been to him. With the son's help, John was offered a full scholarship to any university of his choice.
This news made Mr Akpan so happy to the point of shedding tears of joy. John on the other hand was surprised and very grateful at same time. He couldn't how alm their hope which was lost was now instantly renewed.
Mrs Hannah and her son kept their words, payed Mr Akpan's hospital bills until he was perfectly fine and also sponsored John's education until after university level.

- Though being kind may appear to be simple and unnecessary, it's impact is profound.
- It's good to help the people you can just like John in the story.
Thank you @steemkidss for keeping up with this educative contest. I'm inviting my friends; @uduak01, @vudeme123, @whizzbro4eva, and @bossj23 to participate.
I enjoyed reading this story. The story is a real indication that no condition is permanent but we don't have to sit down and expect our condition to change. Sometimes, we need to work to charge it. The poor and middle-class will always say; God's time is the best and it's very true. Wishing you best of luck in this contest. Please endeavour to use the bold Markdown style in your post to highlight or emphasize words like the protagonist of the story.
Indeed, our words become powerful when we back them up with our best actions.
Thanks for reading through and for the observation, i will endeavor to do that.
