During my leisure time, I read books, sing or see movies. One of the movie I've seen recently is Legally Blonde.
Though it's not a recent movie (2001), it's quite interesting and timeless as well.

The movie.

Legally Blonde is an American romantic comedy movie. It was directed by Robert Luketic and written by Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith. The movie is based on a novel by Amanda Brown with the same title, (egally Blonde).

Interestingly, it's actually based on the true life story of the author, Amanda Brown. It's basically about her experience while attending Stanford Law School as a fashion and makeup-loving blonde.
The movie is encompasses a brilliant blend of female empowerment, humor, and heart as well.

Plot Summary

This movie describes, clearly the journey of Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon) who happens to be a shallow but fashion-obsessed sorority girl. Elle enrolls in Harvard Law School, not for the love of law or the school, but to win back the heart of her ex-boyfriend, Warner Huntington III who broke up with her on the night she so expected a proposal.

However, going through law school and navigating all it's challenges, her intentions changed as she finally discovers her own intelligence, her strength, and determination as well. This proved beyond reasonable doubt that she is more than just a pretty face.

The storyline also captures other interesting and personalities personalities like that of Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon) an upbeat individual who's very caring and encouraging as observed in her interactions with her fellow sorority sisters and the general public at large, Emmett Richmond (Luke Wilson), a kind, thoughtful, and quietly confident individual. Emmett, though he is a talented and also intelligent lawyer, he doesn't feel the need to flaunt or show off. He is humble enough to notice the best in others and also help them in building and bringing our their best.

There are other amazing personalities like that of Brooke Wyndham (Ali Later) who's tough and charismatic, Warner Huntington III who's Good-looking, yet shallow and self-absorbed.

There are some specific elements in the movie which makes it quite memorable and worth seeing and reseeing and reseeing. These elements include; self-belief, perseverance, and staying true to oneself. These are very important messages for young women, and anyone who is interested in the idea of success in their lives.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Legally Blonde is definitely one timeless comedy that continues to captivate the interest of it's audience with its empowering message, memorable characters, and charm. Reese Witherspoon's amazing performance, combined with the film's witty humor and all the heartfelt moments, makes it a must-watch for anyone in need of a relaxing and feel-good movie that celebrates the power of self-confidence and determination.
