Drawing an eagle |
---|
For drawing this eagle an A-4 paper, a pencil and eraser.
Items used
Having this Items ready, I started drawing the eagle begining from the head.
Next, I continued drawing down to the legs but without filling in the major details.
Next was the details I avoided earlier. I filled them in now beginning from the head again.
At this point I was partially done. To make it a little real, I did some shading and also gave the eagle a proper tree to stand on.
And that's the end.
A picture with my drawing.
The thought of drawing an eagle came to mind after coming across the Nigeria coat of arms which consists of a black shield with a wavy white pall, two supporting horses, a green and white twists of the torse on the top of the shield, and of course, an eagle.

An eagle is most times associated with majesty, truth, wisdom, power, royalty, authority, and most importantly, freedom. As they roam the sky, they are believed by most people to have a special connection to God
Drawing this eagle gave me more knowledge about an eagle. A knowledge I shared with my siblings and hope to share with others.
My younger brother. He loves drawing or watching people draw, so while drawing I asked him to come around and see and he promised to try it out himself.
Five interesting facts about an eagle
Eagles have a very sharp sight, sharper than that of humans and this enables them to spot a prey from far distances.
The talon and beak of an eagle is strong, powerful, sharp. It enables them to hold a prey firmly and tear flesh perfectly.
Most species of eagle are monogamous, forming strong bonds that can last a lifetime while they raise their young ones together.
Eagles have a large range of wingspan which allows them to fly effortlessly through the sky.
Some factors like habitat loss and pollution pose threats to the population of eagles.
