"Help The Kids To Develop Their Creativity... Create Something from nothing: Explore more options."

For this contest, I will be making an origami paper shirt which I usually assist a friend to make for her nursery kids.

• To make this paper shirt, you need a piece of paper of any preferred colour and a pen or marker.

• You first fold the piece of paper into two as done below;

• You then open it up and fold both sides inwards as shown below.

• After folding both sides inwards, you open one end like a V as shown below;

• when that is done, you turn the back and bend the other end.

• You then turn the front and fold in both ends of the side you just bended.

• After doing the above, you take the other end to meet the folded end then fix it under the fold you earlier made. This is explained with the pictures below;

• Doing this, we have our paper shirt.

• To give it a better look, you use your pen or marker to make visible dots that will look like buttons and then we have our origami paper shirt.

You can do this with different paper colours.

How did you get the idea?

I got the idea from another colleague of mine who made it and many other interesting crafts for her pupils in the nursery class.

How useful is what you have made?

This paper shirt can be used by kids to play and have fun. Considering how easy and straight forward the steps are, they can also learn how to make it thereby, improving their creativity and thinking.

Which kid did you inspire or do you intend to inspire and help develop the creativity?

All kids, I intend to inspire all the kids in our neighborhood. This is definitely one way of keeping them busy and thinking.
