Contest: Places Of Worship- Eket, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

Good day my lovely people and welcome to a beautiful new year, I believe we are all hale and hearty all thanks to God.

It's so wonderful to be a partaker of this lovely contest accolades to @goodybest for coming up with such captivating topic. Please stay with me as I present the places of worship in my town.

A place of worship is a space or location where people gather with the purpose of honouring, reverencing and learning about the supreme being. The following are some churches in my locality.

The Seventh- Day Adventist Church is a world wide orthodox church, which is located in various part of the world, but this one in my town is located at no. 12 Udofa street in Eket Local Government of Akwa Ibom State.

Their worship days is usually on a saturday, the worshippers in this church are Christians and their choristers are known for singing so melodiously.

The United Evangelical Church was Founded as Qua Iboe Church in the year 1887 by a missionary named Samuel Alexander Bill, it is a nationwide orthodox church which has many branches in my town.

The presented one is located at no. 8 Idua Road in Eket, Akwa Ibom State. The worshippers are Christians and they are very accommodating.

Their worship days are on Sundays and their weekly activities includes choir rehearsals every tuesdays, thursdays and on saturdays, bible study on Wednesdays and mondays for fellowships, amongst other activities.

The Apostolic Church is a renowned orthodox church in my town, with a very beautiful logo "one fold one shepherd". They are made up of christians of both gender.

The Apostolic Church in my town is located in many places but I decided to capture the one located at Udofa Avenue. Their worship days are on Sundays and they engage in other activities such as choir rehearsals, witnesses group, bible study among other activities.

The Faith Tabernacle Congregation was first founded in Ghana in the year 1918. It is partially pentecostal and partially an orthodox church which it worshippers are christian believers. They do not believe in taking drugs as it is their belief that only God can heal as any form of sickness is only but a test from God.

The Faith Tabernacle Congregation has moulded so many lovers of the scripture, who later established their own churches, which still exist till today.

The Christ for the World Mission is a pentecostal church with Rev. Dr. Nicholas Eze as the General Overseer.

It is located in many places around Nigeria and is located at Larkin Smith road, Eket. Their worship days are on Sundays and they engage in various activities such as choir rehearsals, counselling and evening services.

The Voice of the Lord Mission Church is a Pentecostal Church, which practices the ways of God and are made up of christians believers. It is located at udok street in my town and they engage in other godly activities asides Sunday services like every other Christlike Churches.

The Reedemed Christian Church Of God is a well known nationwide pentecostal Church in my Country Nigeria.

It has so many parish located at various places in my hometown and beyond. Their members constitute of christians and their days of worship are on Sundays. Also, they engage in lovely activities just like every other Christlike Churches and it is a beautiful place to belong.

In conclusion, all the above mentioned places of worship make use of the Holy Bible as their source of guide and reference as they are all Christians who believe in in the same creator.
