Awake, treasure hunters, awake!

We are going on another great adventure today. Our target is the chest with occupations. To guide you on this journey, I want you to remember that occupation is the service or work a person does or offers to other people in exchange for money. There are few occupations in the chest, let's find them before the pirates do. Now grab your atlas, compass, shovels, bags and every other tool needed for a successful treasure hunt, we are set to begin our journey.

Types of Occupation

Fashion Designer
A person who designs clothes professionally.

Seamstress
A woman who sews clothes.

Tailor
A man who sews clothes.

Teacher
This is a person who teaches others. It could either be in a classroom setting or an online class.

Mason
A builder or someone who builds houses.

Medical Doctor
A medical doctor is trained to treat sick people. Doctors diagnose patients at the hospital and prescribe medication for their ailments. It's advisable to meet a doctor whenever you feel sick.

Nurse
A nurse works hand in hand with doctors to take care of the patients at the hospital.

Chef
A trained cook who prepares meals for people at home, a restaurant or a hotel.

Caterer
One who is paid to provide food at an occasion, party or meeting.

Writer
This is a person whose work is to write down their thoughts for various purposes. They include scriptwriters, copywriters, authors of books, poems etc.

Architect
A person who designs the layout of a house.

Graphic Designer
A tech person who tries to communicate or represent information with images.

Plumber
Someone who specializes in fixing sinks, toilets and pipes.

Vendor
A person who sells a particular type of product, especially on the street. E. g Food vendors, newspaper vendors etc.

Merchant
A kind of trader who sells goods in large quantities. For example, wholesalers who sell at the market.

Nanny
A person that is paid to take care of babies or children.

Babysitter
Also called Childminder. It refers to a person paid to look after babies and children for a short period when their parents and guardians are away.

Janitor
A person whose job is to clean and maintain a building.

Painter
A person who paints walls to give them a beautiful look. It could also be an artist who creates designs and pictures with paint.

Dry Cleaner
A person who cleans clothes, shoes, curtains and other cloth items.

Chauffeur
A private driver who is employed to drive a motor car.
As in the sentence: We are waiting for our chauffeur to arrive so he can drive us to school.

Taxi Driver
Have you ever wondered what a Bolt driver is called? Well... A taxi driver is one who drives a taxicab.
