Describe a Rabbit

Rabbits are small domesticated mammals with the thick fur, some very noticeable ears on a cute little face with whiskers. Their for legs are short and smaller when compared with their hind legs. Rabbits really don't walk, they hop about as if playing leapfrog or gait when speed is needed.

Rabbits live together as a herd, but if they are living in the wild, such a group will be called a colony(warren). They often lives in burrows, or rabbit holes in the forest, woods, wetlands or grasslands.

The male is called a buck while the female is the doe and their young are called rabbits. Other name used to describe this adorable animal are coney,

Because they are preyed upon by many animals, rabbits are good runner and may even have to sleep with it's eyes open and functioning as a motion sensor. When in danger, a rabbit may kick or bite.

I have seen rabbits on TV and in real life. I have watched a lot of bugs bunny show cartoon and petter the rabbit. And a few have rabbits as pets.

Rabbits have been hunted for food by man in spite of the the fact that an infected rabbits may be a host for tularemia better known as also rabbit fever. It's fur is made in to clothes. Rabbit dung and urine are used as manure and some rabbits are milked for their rich proteinous milk. While others view a rabbit foot as an amulet for good luck .

It time to draw our rabbits

Material needed

• Pencil
• Plain sheet of paper
• Crayon
• Eraser

Step 1
I started by signing the blank paper

Step 2
The ear and head of rabbit one

Step 3
Went down to put it's legs and hands

Step 4
Then came the eye, mouth and whiskers. Rabbit one is standing on two legs.

Step 5
Rabbit two is coming up curled-up beside rabbit one. It's head ears and part of it's fore arm is drawn.

Step 6
I added it's legs

Step 7
whiskers and shading with pencil

Conclusion

Thank you all for following the simple steps I have presented in this drawing. I believe the kids will follow along and learn some facts about Rabbits.
