Good afternoon everyone and welcome to my blog. It's another week of drawing challenge and it's getting interesting.
In today's drawing I will be drawing a cat.
Before I start the drawing I will briefly describe and say a few things about a cat.

Describe a cat

A cat is a domestic and small carnivorous animal. Cat is a mammal because its gives birth to its young ones. Cat has strong flexible body with sharp teeth and bright eyes. Cat's vision and sense of smell are well-developed. A male cat is called a Tom otherwise known as tomcat. A female cat is called a Queen and a young cat is called kitten. A group of cats is referred to as clowder or a glaring.
Cat conserve its energy by sleeping and cat can sleep more than most animals especially when they grow older. Cat uses many sounds for communication like plurring, trilling, hissing,. Growling, grunting and other different forms of meowing.
Cat spent a lot of time licking their coats to keep themselves clean. Males cats often fights more than the female cats. They fight with another male cat to mate with a female cat and the havier male cat often won the fight.
When cats are angry or become aggressive, they try to make themselves appear larger and threatening by raising the fur, turning sideways and hissing.

What do you like about cat?

I like their neatness. I have never seen a cat being dirty before. As a result of being that they hide their excrement. They do not defecate in public. I like cats because they are so beautiful especially the kitten.

Have you seen one before? If yes where?

I have seen that so many times. We had many of them as pets. So beautiful and lovely. And the like playing.

Are they important to man?

• Cat brings unconditional love to man.
• Cat has the ability to calm our nervous system and provide fun and play.
• Cat lower stress , this is because by playing with cats, they can turn a bad day into a good day.
• Cat reduces feelings of loneliness because can can make great companions

It is now time for to follow this few steps I used in drawing the cat above.

Material needed

• Pencil
• Plain sheet of paper

Step 1
I started by drawing the ears and some part of the head.

Step 2
Here I have completed the shape of the head and also fix the eyeballs

Step 3
In this step, have completely draw out the body shape without the legs and hand.

Step 4
Here I have added all the body part and you can see the shape of the cat now.

Step 5

And this is the finish steps of the drawing.

Conclusion

Thank you all for following the simple steps I have presented in this drawing. I believe the kids will follow along and also read some fact about cat above.
