Contest|| Importance of co-education

A beautiful morning to all the beautiful kids and parents in the house, I hope you had a splendid night rest. And I trust you are having a fruitful and productive week, keep keeping your hopes alive by His grace we would all get there.
It is another exciting opportunity for me to participate on this contest by @moyeon, giving us the room to sample our different intelligent opinions on this topic importance of co-education.

📚What is the meaning of co-education?

Co-education is simply the combination of both the male and female students in a college or school by teaching them together in a classroom at the same time.

Co-education can improve interactions by promoting diverse atmosphere.

📚Which education will you prefer for your kids?, Co-educational centres or all boys/ all girls educational centres?

Although I'm not married yet and I don't have any kids yet too but when I do I'll prefer co-education for my kids.

You might want to know why I'll choose co-education, yeah! Co-education gives a child the opportunity to interact with his/her opposite sex in an open and uncompromised environment. It also gives a child the room to learn and know how the other gender operates. And this would rule out ignorance on the part of the child and makes him/ her to guard against any unpredictable danger that might pop up in the future.

📚How does co-educational centres play role in developing personality of a child?

• Co-education gives room for the child to learn equal opportunity from a tender age.

• It fosters group interactions by helping the child to discover his/her hidden potentials and strength that can aid the child to grow into a well responsible person.

• Co-education help increases the child social skills towards a healthy competition, through learning and socializing together.

• it plays a role of making the children to embrace and also celebrate their differences and even similarities.

• Co-education prepares a child's life beyond school environment by providing a child with a strong foundation and building of respect and also help the child to foster or maintain social and professional relationships in the future. Through this a child will come out as balanced and well-rounded individual.

📚Merits and demerits of Co-education

Everything on the surface of the earth has both its good and bad sides, even human beings.
So let's see what are the merits or advantages of Co-education.

1: Co-education boost confidence; that's to say that students or pupils can play and talk to the opposite gender without feeling shy or timid. And this can make them to talk and face a bigger crowd of mixed people boldly because they already had a first hand experience through Co-educational centres.

2: Co-education improves team work amongst the students; they can read and study together.
They can be paired to do an assignment or project together.
For instance: A task or a drama can be given to them to act out the following;
Father
Mother
Children
And the different roles will fit in perfectly well in a mixed school. And this can make them to learn about family and its operations.

3: It develop respect: By interacting with the opposite gender, students can tend to understand their nature and problem well,and this can help increase respect for the opposite sex.

4: Co-education create a healthy competition: By giving equal rights to both sexes and making them have the same platforms and freedoms too.

Now let's look at the demerits or disadvantages of Co-education

As I said earlier that everything has both good and bad sides:-

1: Less concentration: This point is self explanatory, since the system consists of both male and female students, naturally they will tend to be attracted to each other.

2: Sexual problem. This is common though in Co-educational system. God created male and female, therefore when staying in a particular place for sometime, there's seems to be an attraction, this might cause them to want to experiment due to that youthful tendencies.

3: Unwanted issues and arguments can create unhealthy environment. Because each party would want to showcase their prowess.

These and many more others.

In conclusion: Co-education Foster equality and provides an even platforms for both genders. Not ruling out the prons and the cons, but in all let us all build and lay a stronger foundation for the future generations.
