Phrases to deal with anxiety

One of the disorders that is about to level the damage caused by depression is anxiety and, its impact is so great that the economic cost that an affected person must make in many cases has been almost impossible to afford.

On previous occasions I have told you that, I am a patient of this disorder and, I can attest that the anguish that generates us, reaches the level of paralyzing us therefore, I sympathize with the statistics that detail the rise of the problem of anxiety because, even knowing that you do not have the resources for the respective treatments, It can make the situation more distressing.

Talking with 2 psychologists about the current issue of anxiety I learned that, worldwide, approximately 43% of the population is suffering from anxiety disorder and what I find most delicate about the situation is that, 39% of these people despite experiencing the symptoms, can not go to a specialist to receive the relevant diagnosis therefore, I have no doubt that the absence of professional intervention in these people is a dangerous deficit for them since, anxiety disorder at all times requires intervention to be controlled and overcome.

Due to this delicate problem of mental health, I gave myself the task of compiling some phrases that can be useful in case of suffering from this disorder emphasizing that, the fact that they put them into practice, does not mean that they will put aside the request for professional help because, this will always be necessary.

We must not believe everything the mind is telling us


Automatically we usually assume that our mind will help us when solving or failing that, prevent problems and, this position is because, we have the concept that it is logical and rational therefore, we trust blindly in it. However, reality is very far from being so since, naturally thoughts are sheltered from bias and distortion due to the doses of prejudices we have in certain aspects for this reason, the mind interprets and perceives a situation in an adverse way to reality.

An exemplification of the above is that, when a person suffers from social anxiety, he automatically thinks negative things about him and if something does not go well, he feels that he is to blame for what happened reaching the level of, distorting the reality of what could have happened and, everything is originated to the wrong concept that is in his mind for it, It is not advisable to believe in all the messages emitted by the brain

95% of the concerns we have are not real


One of the characteristics of anxiety is that it always anticipates what may happen later and, the curious thing is that sometimes it does not even happen what we think. This means that we tend to anguish and disturb ourselves with news that hypothetically we cannot control because they are not happening. To avoid this situation, when an event occurs we have to calm down because, there is a very high percentage that nothing of what the mind projected will happen.

Our thoughts do not represent us in their entirety


To learn to detach ourselves from our thoughts, yoga activities guide us to break the automatic barrier we have since we are aware of things since, our beliefs tend to be prejudiced in certain aspects, however, when we learn to analyze the origin of our thoughts and observe the impact they are having on our daily lives, We prevented further duplication in harmful ways and we managed to make positive progress.

Keep in mind that, in our mind there is always a brainstorm, some true and others not, while this happens, we are listening carefully to everything and this is where we must be aware that, all those thoughts do not represent us therefore, we must leave them without falling into feelings of guilt.

Worrying is not synonymous with a solution


Most of the time, anxiety is camouflaged from the false vision we have about positive concern for it, we automatically believe that by worrying we are going to the reasonable and even considered solution of the problems however, what we are really doing is submerging ourselves unconsciously in the anguish and blockage that prevents us from solving the problem.

In conclusion, in order to face anxiety, we must put reflection into practice since this will give us the necessary doses of calm to not reach the level of collapse. Each of these sentences, we will read them again and again until we understand the paradigm of life that each one has because, they are excellent teachers when it comes to guiding us on how important we are to ourselves.
