Viewers and all beloved community moderators. Again I took part in a writing competition guided by one of the moderators, namely @udyliciouz which was presented through the Steem Kids & Parents community, with the title of the competition "Poverty, Can it be Reduced? How?". But before that, I also wanted to invite some steemean friends, namely @yuswadinisam @moliza and @zulbahri to be able to participate in this contest.

What is poverty...?

Poverty is a condition in which humans are unable to meet their basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter, education and health. Poverty is also a global problem and greatly impacts the development of a country.

Name and explain the 5 causes of poverty...?

1. Forgetting the Creator

In the teachings of the religion that I adhere to, poverty can be caused because someone forgets and is not grateful for all the blessings that have been given by the Creator.

2. Limited job opportunities

The lack of available jobs in an area also has an impact on poverty, due to rampant unemployment caused by the limited employment opportunities.

3. Low educational qualification

In general, every company or job market that is available, always accepts employees and workers with a high level of educational qualifications. However, if the educational qualifications are quite low, it is certain that it will be very difficult to apply for a job anywhere.

4. Increase in population

Population growth can also result in an area in poverty, due to inadequate employment opportunities. Unlike the case with rich and developed countries which are not affected by the increase in population.

5. Sophisticated technology

The more sophisticated the technology, the more work is done with the power of machines and robots. Automatically, human power is no longer needed.

Describe at least 5 consequences of poverty...?

Poverty is definitely a root source for further problems, such as:

1. Starving

Poverty and suffering from hunger are a real consequence of poverty.

2. Health problems

As a result of hunger, the next effect is the disruption of health.

3. Criminal

Robbery, theft and extortion are generally based on poverty.

4. Disruption of education

It could be that a child or a group of other people drop out of school because they cannot afford to pay for education. This is also clear evidence of the effects caused by poverty.

5. Death

Hospital costs and expensive medicines may prevent some poor people from accessing them. So if someone in the family is sick, like it or not they can only take care of them at home.

What are the poverty alleviation strategies you know and how can it help reduce poverty...?

The main strategy for poverty alleviation in my opinion is "Repent or live on the right path and be diligent in worshiping". Because every human being who obeys and obeys the commands of the Creator, then he will be provided with all his blessings.

What can you personally do to alleviate poverty in your locality...?

The first thing I did was call on and invite every resident to prosper the mosque and other places of worship. Besides that, I also invite the community to help each other, give and provide for each other together.

Can steemit help alleviate poverty? Explain...?

I do not think so...!
Because steemit is not a field for making money, plus the current development of steemit which makes many users have to follow club status rules, and users cannot take advantage of everything they get in steemit to make money, because it collides with existing rules. For me personally, having steemit at this time is not even sufficient for the internet cost capital and the time we have spent.
