Dear friends and all community moderators. There are many things that a teacher can do at school to increase children's enthusiasm for learning. It could be that it starts from small things to big things. The aim is to increase the interest of children to be enthusiastic in learning and to be diligent in school.
Actually, education providers must improve to boost students' interest in learning. Especially now that the government in my country, Indonesia and even other countries, has disbursed an annual budget for school operational costs. Of course, by utilizing a small portion of the budget, the principal should pay serious attention to encouraging children so that their motivation in learning should develop.
Here are some things that can make children excited about learning, including:
"1. Make various competitions at school"
Competitions in schools at certain times, such as when the month of commemoration of the country's independence comes. Most schools hold competitions in which students participate with the main objective of just enlivening the month of independence and fostering the enthusiasm of students to come to school diligently. All of our students are involved in participating in this competition by at least competing with their classmates.
The excitement and joy in these various competitions, indirectly the children become enthusiastic in learning.
"2. Giving gifts"
It is very important to give prizes to children who excel or become champions in competitions. It doesn't matter whether the prize is big or small, but every student who receives a prize especially at school, they will be very happy and the other children will compete to get a prize like the rest of their friends.
"3. Giving praise"
Giving praise to each student has an impact on their interest in learning. A professional teacher should give praise to each of his students starting from the little things he did, especially for them for their success.
"4. Make learning moments fun"
A teacher should be able to change the atmosphere of teaching and learning to be fun. If it was so, every child would not have missed the moment that passed. By itself the children will be diligent in school and enthusiastic in participating in learning.

Competitions was always something I looked forward to especially outdoor competitions and I was literally ready to do anything and everything to participate fully even if it meant for me to train everyday for months until the D-Day.
The earlier school authorities acknowledge this fact, the better.
