Dear friends and all community moderators. At the school where I work, there are several types of games that are taught by the Sports teacher when the schedule arrives, both from grade 1 to grade 6.
But usually the sports teacher who teaches in the upper classes from grades 4, 5 and 6. Before children are given sports equipment, they are first taught about the implementation of the flag ceremony.
The Sports Teacher will test all children to be actively involved in carrying out the Ceremony officer training starting from:
• Reading of the Rules,
• Ceremony Leader,
• Flag Raising Troops,
• Reading of the Constitution,
• Carrier of Pancasila Text,
• Voice Guidance, and
• Chanting prayers.
After that, the children were given the sports equipment that each student wanted such as foot ball, volleyball, racket and racket ball and baseball.
When the children started playing, the gym teacher watched him. If children get bored with one game, they will play another game together.
Like today, I witnessed that after children get tired of playing with one game, they play soccer together even though our school doesn't have a special field for playing soccer. However, even though the yard is not wide, the upper class children are still enthusiastic about playing soccer with each other.
This is certainly different from children who are still in lower grades such as grades 1, 2 and 3. Most of these children are taught some traditional games such as the Tiger and Goat Game and other traditional games.
In the game Tiger and Goat, a child plays the role of a tiger and another child acts as a goat, what remains will be a cage or fence where the goats are in it.
The tiger outside the fence will try to penetrate the fence to prey on the goat. In this case, the child who is in charge of being a fence must try to defend the fence from tiger attacks. If the Tiger is able to penetrate the fence and prey on the Goat, then the game is over and restarted by replacing the Tiger and Goat with each other.
However, if the children get bored with this game, the sports teacher also provides other sports equipment as well as upper grade students. However, grades 1, 2 and 3 cannot be taught to become Flag Ceremony officers.
