Update #18: Writing Expedition ✍️ The death of Tracy (creativewriting)

Greetings friends

Glad am back to steemit, have been busy for a while now and I tried to be active here but it wasn't possible and easy for me. I remembered this contest and knew that today is a day for writing stories so I decided to try my best to be active today so that I can post it this afternoon before the today ends. I thank @steemkidss for organizing this contest. Today's story is a sad one 😭🙍

The death of Tracy

Once upon a time in a huge and globalize city, there lived a lady who lives with her only child, she doesn't have a husband and the father of her daughter refused to marry her after impregnating her before marriage. This woman was so sad and she had to struggle had before she could have few money to take care of herself as well as her unborn child.

This woman began to sell food, she's was trying her best to endure the pains she gets as a result of her pregnancy, whenever she's cooking and doing other things. She has lots of customers that's why she's able to survive. She finally gave birth to her daughter and began to train her in school.

Now her daughter is in the university and it has never been easy for this woman all this while, she made a goal that she must train her daughter in school till she graduate from the university. Her daughter always appreciate her for the love she has showed her all these years.

She was once living with a man who intended to marry her when her daughter was 15 years old but she left the man after she caught him trying to rape her daughter Tracy when she was on her way back from the market. From that day she began to stay alone after she managed to rent a house from her savings and vowed she will never marry that she's ok with her life.

She always warn her daughter to be careful with the friends she follows, most especially her male friends, she normally says that men are wicked and heartless, she has been betrayed by lots of men before and she doesn't like men at all, most especially her uncles back then when she was younger.

The only business this woman has with men is only her food business as well as her pastor. She treats her customers well because they normally treat her well. Most of her customers and good responsible married men who don't behave anyhow. She also has bad men and criminals as customers but they don't mess with her at all.
