Today I bring you guys a story titled THE STORY OF AN ORPHAN GIRL

Once upon a time, in a faraway land. A royal family was finally blessed with a son.

But before that, the village priest already warned them that there should be no naming ceremony and no one should know the name of the child.

This was so as to preserve the life of the prince.

As the years passed, the prince grew into a handsome young man. All the maidens in the village admired him and wished they could be his wife.

Now that he had come of age, the king decided that the prince was going to have a bride.

So the king ordered the town crier to announce to the villagers that in seven days, there will be a contest for all the maidens in the kingdom.

Whoever should know the name of the prince will surely marry him.

This was an impossible task because no one ever knew the name of the prince.

At this time, there was a beautiful orphan girl named Chika, who was rejected by most people.

She was wondering through the forest one day when a strange bird appeared to her, singing:

"Okraw seller, give me one okraw.
Is yours? Give me a little.
I will tell you the name of your husband-to-be.
Ibalajobi Agogo, Agogo somuntere...
Igba orumore, terem, terem..."

This was how the orphan girl got to know the names of the prince.
Then came the day where all the maidens were dressed in their best dresses just to catch the eye of the handsome prince.

The competition began; all the maidens suggested different names, but no one was able to tell the names of the prince.

The king was on the verge of losing all hopes when Chika, who was last in number, immediately came in, to the amazement of everyone present in the palace.

Chika remembered the strange bird's song and was able to tell the complete names of the prince. The king immediately picked her as the prince bride.

They went inside and dressed Chika in a princess dress. Prince was very excited to see the beautiful girl and was ready to get married to her.
So Chika and Prince later got married and lived happily ever after. They expressed unlimited love in their marriage, which made Chika about to give birth to three sons and two daughters.
After many years passed, they later became the leaders (king and queen) of the kingdom.

An orphan is now the head of a kingdom.
