Social Studies Lesson: Socialization and its Processes

Socialization however is a long chain reaction that involves learning from others by interacting or imitating someone's behavior in the way the society lives, not only about what we see others do from childhood but also some cultural attires, walk steps of the old,(mainly children, some kids place their two hands at the back, bend a little and walks as the elders do) some kids even wear their guardians clothe when the ain't home.

It's also a means by which humans learn the relics of life either by imitation, direct learning, or practice of patterns.

SIGNIFICANCE OF SOCIALIZATION

*: Socialization helps uphold the values of tradition and cultures of the society.
*: Socialization creates, teaches, and develops quality communication skills among people.
*: It prepares members of the community and also strangers on the hardworking and the need to be united.
*: Socialization cuddles respect among individuals in the community.
*: Socialization builds the newborn and adult to adapt to the community standards.

PROCESS OF SOCIALIZATION

** Political socialization:this process involves the coming together of people to think, educate or learn about politics, getting information about political values and beliefs, and also guiding the people on making quality decisions politically

**SCHOOL SOCIALIZATION:This is a process where a child learns by observing, and practicing under someone which could be agreed upon for some years, they imitate what they are taught, either numerically, theoretically, or as essays, here being under two guardians, the tutor, and his parent, he/she ought to do extra-curricular activities that could inspire them chose a career in it, be it in sports games, inter-school or states competition and working through their dreams.

By the time individuals are in their preteens or teenage age, peer groups play a major role in socialization than family members.

**FAMILY SOCIALIZATION (Early stage).
This occurs in early life which differs by culture, the family uses positive and negatives sanction to help teach wards right from wrong, and at this early stage, children work with their parent's political and social views which tend to repeat what is said in their presence.
The parents show their wards genuine love which regards as the greatest impact of socialization.
