HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY

Hello to everyone in this wonderful community today. I greet you all in one accord, I want to believe that we all are doing so wonderful today. If so, praise be to the almighty.

Today is the weekend as though it is Friday here in Nigeria, and as such, I will be participating in the ongoing contest that has been scheduled in this community by our very own @goodybest which has been titled HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY.

It is going to be a powerful and a wonderful contest and I urge you all to relax and sit tight as I drop my entry.

It has been noted that the world was created in such a way that will benefit man-kind and all that is seen living in the world. But little wonder, everyone has a particular motive in his or her heart.

Corruption has now overtaken the global system where everyone is just out there for his or herself, there are many cases of money laundering and theft all over the world and this is as a result of bad people in the system.

We can as well talk about some leaders who come out to us all with their manifesto, they speak so well and their speeches are so convincing to everyone that later on, they're likely to win the heart of the people.

They come with the words of affirmation, telling everyone how honest they will be when been voted for or elected, and at long last, all they do is to feed their own nest and careless about those who placed them in power.

It has also got down to the level in which, colleagues who are working together also lack honesty with in themselves. Truth is not seen anywhere, in fact they sell eachother for money or title. How pathetic!.

The love for success and to get rich quick has been the sole reason my honesty is not seen in the life of people. People do ill things that are not recommended and not acceptable just to gather resources and eventually do away with all the funds, living others to suffer the consequences of their ill act.

Every department, company, country, state, sectors, industry and a lot more are facing this particular challenge. Why is it that most individuals are given the wrong ideology for success?.

When will the world be a better place? This questions have been ringing in my mind lately. Truth is lacking in not just in this platform but everywhere. Most people believe that one has to look out for himself else no one will look out for you, yes I understand that self love comes first, but you don't do that at the detriment of others.

Good things does not always come easy and we all know this thing. Why then can't we work slow and steady, why the rush, why being in such a hurry for success. Many people just come to a place and want to make it in no distant time, and then they engage themselves in dishonesty such as embezzling funds, cheating, lying and participate in fraudulent activities just to get rich quick and zoom off.

The problem is that, they know not the harm they often leave behind when such thing is done. why not we take an example with this platform for instance, as a community leader, you opened a new community in other to support other young steemians so as to boost the platform.

And then, you are being fortunate to get support from the curators, you make contest and publication using the community account and then you get supported as a result of that article or contest you made.

_{Now, those supports you get from the curators is to assist you to build your community Steem power in other to support users who make posts and have subscribed, but then, we get to see that at the end of the day, after such communities have gain supports so well and have accumulated more than enough, immediately they do away with the funds.}

But if honesty is seen in the attitude of certain users, everyone would have been smiling by now, there would have been trust among all users and everyone would have been smiling by now.

We should all do what is right, because it does not only help us but also help other users in the platform. Our honesty will sure build trust and as such, no one will be struggling to succeed again after all, honesty is the policy.
