Am to see you guys here again today I'm known as Louis and I love powering up alot because I know it's benefits. Powering up my steem in steemit has really gone a long way in helping me grow fast in steemit. I thank @steemkidss for organizing this contest.

Steps in powering up

Do you know that the process whereby we convert our liquid steem to steem power is known as Power up? Please check the steps below.

Step 1

First of all you login into your wallet by copying your posting key and copying it in the box provided. I had 13 steem and 1,427 steem power before I powered up.

This means I will be powering up 13 steem today.

Step 2

Then you click that little arrow beside the number of your steem and then a short page will appear, showing transfer, transfer to savings, power up, trade, and market.

Our intention here is to power up so we will just quickly tap the power up button and is very easy to do.

Step 3

After doing so another page will appear and we will be able to fill in the amount of steem we want to power up.

We all know I will be powering up 13 steem, I decided to fill 16 in the box provided and then tap on the power up button.

Step 4

Once you click the power up button, another page will appear, requesting for your active key.

The next thing to do is to go to your wallet and copy your active key then paste it inside the box provided. Then you click sign in and then the process gets complete.

My steem is now 0 and my steem power is now 1,440.

Why do we power up

When we power up in steemit we are greatly helping ourselves the most and not others because we benefit alot when we power up, the following are the importance.

Powering up brings many investors because they will believe most steemians doesn't like powering down. It also increases our influence in the platform which is very good. Happy Sunday
