North Aceh Delegates Build Reading House in Nisam . District

The North Aceh TurunTangan Community established a Reading House "Rangkang Pustaka" with donations raised during the Ramadhan Blessing event on the Kitabisa.com platform in collaboration with the Turuntangan Foundation.

Ichsan emphasized that this was originally an idea that was continuously presented and initiated in the form of a proposal, even though it had failed and was refused funding from CSR PT. PLN. Now, Rangkang Pustaka stands firmly on the cooperation of the North Aceh Volunteer Team after becoming the Best Education Project in the national event of TurunTangan Volunteers Summit 2021 last.

Rangkang Pustaka is planned to be upgraded to a Community Reading Park, so we expect the support of all parties and stakeholders. The children who become students at TBM Rangkang Pustaka are children from the North Aceh TurunTangan Scholarship project, which currently has 5 permanent recipients, plus 6 North Aceh Scholarship recipients in collaboration with Indonesia Mengajar.

Volunteers from North Aceh hope that there will be activities that are sustainable and can increase self-capacity development to be better in the future.

This afternoon I visited the reading house. The reading house was founded by a great young man. Where the purpose of the reading house is to teach village children to learn to read and also to read some of the open ones in that place. Today we are making preparations for the inauguration of the reading house the next day.
