Contest Result: Who is a Moderator on the Steemit Platform

Hi steemians,
I'm delighted to announce the result of the contest organized a week ago which goes with the title 'Who is a Moderator on the Steemit Platform' The contest was aimed at seeing our various understanding of who a moderator is on the steemit platform.

A moderator plays an important role in the steemit platform via the various communities. We have seen on our various publications when a review is done on our works when we publish it in any community. These reviews involve checking the basic requirement such as steemexlusivity, club status, plagiarism, bot use, etc.

We have seen also in the various entries made by different users what they think a moderator is in the platform and the various duties he/she does for the growth of the platform. We have also seen the views of the user as to who is eligible to be a moderator I.e the criteria needed to be a moderator.

A total of 16 people participated in the contest and got their articles reviewed. A few factors contained in the rules of the contest were taken into consideration when selecting winners.

As I have said, we had quite interesting entries in all but there must always be a winner and that is why the three listed below stood out among others. We have shared the reward among the three winners in the ratio of 5:3:2, as promised in the main contest. The screenshot and the links of the winners are seen below.

The contest was quite an interesting one as we give our different explanations of who we think moderators are on the steemit platform. We have also heard from users about the criteria they feel should be met before selecting a moderator. To all participants, we appreciate your effort and to the winners, we say kudos to you all.
