SEC17 WK:#3: large and small families, likes and dislikes
To be honest I don't like large families because this is not easy or possible for parents to give equal care to children. Parents are human too and having grown up I can understand their stress when they were raising each child in a family. Most of the uneducated parents plan more kids even when they are not financially stable.
Some children in a large family remain neglected and they go through various emotional traumas and that's the reason behind my disliking large families. It hurts when any child see parents neglecting him for their other children and this is not good for his mental and physical health.
Only giving birth is not enough, giving basic rights to children is really very important. Many illiterate people plan more kids because of their secured future but they doesn't think about the future of the child they are planning. They decide to play with a life and plan more than 2-3 kids.
Planning more kids can be considered doing injustice to the kids parents already have. Many illiterate poor parents send their kids for labour to earn money and this is crucial but can be found in slums. Uneducated and sometimes less educated couples hardly think about the future of kids and they just give birth to secure their own future when they will get old.
Once I saw a woman who gave birth of five boys and send them for work at their early age. No education, no good food, cloth and accomodation were provided to these boys when these things are basic need for kids. This was not the only one family, there are thousands of family that doesn't plan kids and give birth randomly.
Uneducated and irresponsible educated people doesn't think about their children as a result those children born with bad luck and struggle all life long to have a good life. Many children become depressed with such irresponsible parents and start taking drugs. This may sound bad about parents but this is the truth that I have witnessed many times in my life.
Large family is not even good for rich parents because kids doesn't need only financial support but also physical and mental support that only parents can give to their children. One or two kids is fine for parents and they should plan for their kids when they will be born.
Giving a good and secured life is more important than giving birth. If someday I can afford raising more kids then I would love to adopt kids from orphanage instead giving birth more and making the family large one. Two kids will be fine for me but become a responsible parent is more important for me before giving birth of a child.

I've seen this happen a lot in my community. Sometimes, people especially poor and illiterate are so focused on their own security that they forget about what's best for their kids. Actually, a viscous cycle of poverty , illiteracy and unemployment is unfolded.
That's heartbreaking. We used to have a family in our neighborhood, they had so many kids, but none of them got to enjoy their childhood because they were all working to support the family. I belive that it's unfair seeing kids miss out on being kids.
My parents always emphasized the importance of providing a stable and nurturing environment for us. It's not just about having kids; it's about raising them right and ensuring they have what they need to thrive. I also follow same principle for myself and want to be a good parent for my kids .
