Today I will participate in the "Steemit Engagement Challenge S6/W5 should gift giving only be for a season in a year?" organized by Steem Kids & Parents. I want to thank the organizers for organizing such a beautiful competition. So let's begin.

What is gift giving?

Giving or receiving gifts is both a Sunnah act in our Islamic religion. Giving something without conditions or thinking of one's interests is a gift. A gift is something that honors both the giver and receiver equally. Sunnah act very happy for Allah's pleasure.

Should it just be for a season in a year? Explain

Never. Gifts should not only be for one season of the year. We can give gifts to our loved ones or loved ones anytime. This way you don't have to wait for any time. Because we always want to keep our loved ones happy. So we can give gifts to our loved ones any day or time without waiting for any special occasion. This will strengthen our mutual bond.

Name other opportunities that one can exchange gifts

The opportunities that can exchange gifts are given below:

• Religious festival :

  Firstly we can exchange gifts at various Religious festival. For example, Eid for Muslims, Puja for Hindus, and Christmas for Christians. Bengalis also have Bengali New Year and English New Year.

• Surprise :

  Sometimes gifts can be given to give a surprise. We can gift our loved ones as a surprise to express our love for them.

• Family or social events :

  Since we are social creatures, we must attend various family or social events to keep pace with our society. To attend all those events, we have to arrange gifts as a courtesy.

• Observation of different days :

  We observe different days every year. For example, we can give gifts to each other for Father's Day, Mother's Day, Teacher's Day, Friendship Day, Parents' Day, Valentine's Day, etc.,

• On special occasions:

  We can give gifts to our loved ones. For example, We can give gifts when a new baby is born, when someone gets a job or gets a promotion when someone gets good results in an exam, gifts on wedding anniversaries, etc.

What are proper items that can be exchanged as gifts

There are many items to exchange as gifts, such as:

• For small children, we offer various toys or toys, chocolates, comic books, story books, study tables, etc.
• Clothing, jewelry, jewelry boxes, purses, shoes, etc. for girls.
• Shirts, pants, watches, wallets, T shirts, etc. for boys.
• Sarees, Punjabi, Glasses, Zai Namaz, Quran Sharif etc. for father and mother.
• Also, we can give flower bouquets, dinner sets, etc. as gifts on family or social occasions.

What should be the right motive for gift giving

Appreciation is the correct and only intrinsic way to give gifts. The primary purpose of gift-giving is appreciation and gratitude to the recipient. We don't give gifts just for show. Instead, the gift exemplifies our love for the recipient and his essential role in our lives.

Who is qualified to give gifts?

Anyone can give a gift. Everyone is here to give a worthy gift. Anyone, rich or poor, can give a gift. Just have to see how his mind is. Whether the gift is big or small, the gift giver must feel love and gratitude towards the recipient. So everyone deserves a gift.

How should the giver and the receiver feel about the act of giving

Gift-giving should feel positive for both the giver and receiver because emotion is the most critical factor in gift exchange. Conveys the emotions of the human mind to the receiver through his gifts. This is a great way to please the one you love. And the best part of this donation is that it helps to instill joy between the giver and the recipient.
