SLC26-W6 - "Cold Appetizers"

Greetings my dear friends! This is your own shahidalinaz. Today I came with happy mood and lot of excitement to join this challenge. For this contest I decided to make cold appetizer(Picnic Egg Salad), one of my cold appetizers that always bring smile on face. I will also share the steps how I made it. So stay close with me, don’t go anywhere, let’s learn and enjoy together!

◉1- What do you understand by Cold Appetizers?

Cold appetizers are light dishes that serve before main meal. They are not cooked on fire mostly, and serve chilled or at room temperature. These appetizers freshen the mood and also increase hunger. Many people serve salad, sandwiches, fruit chaat, yogurt dips as cold appetizer. They are easy to make and look very colorful on table. In parties or family gathering, cold appetizers are very popular because they are quick and healthy. For me, cold appetizers are a fun way to enjoy food before main course starts.

◉2- Make any one cold appetizer of your choice in detail ,step by step with pictures . You can add ingredients of your choice too.

Here is procedure, how I made Picnic Egg Salad .

👉 I had boiled the eggs and toasted the bread. I chopped the boiled eggs.

👉 I added chopped boiled eggs to a white bowl. I added a spoonful of dill to it, then I added a spoon of black pepper powder and half a teaspoon of. Then I added mayonnaise to it, which I had previously cooled well. After adding the mayonnaise, I mixed it well.

👉 After mixing the mixture well, I baked each bread and started applying my mixture on top of it. Similarly, I spread this mixture on all my toasted bread.
After that, I decorated it with fresh coriander leaves, one by one, which also made a delicious dish.

◉3-Do you face any difficulty during making the recipe?

No, I did not face any difficulty while making my cold pasta salad. I followed all the instructions carefully which were given in contest. Step by step I did same process and everything goes very smooth. Pasta boil perfect, vegetables were cut nicely, and dressing mix also balance. At the end, salad looks fresh and taste was very good. It was exactly same like I expected. I felt happy because my recipe came out tasty and presentable without any problem.
