SEC17 WK:#4: the effects of economic hardships on families **

Hope you all are doing well and good and enjoying the best days of your life. This is me @shahid2030 from Pakistan and you are here reading my post. You all are welcome here from the core of my heart.
This is my participation in a contest the effects of economic hardships on families organized in Steem Kids & Parents by @steemkidss.

This is too much true that these day the entire world is going through extreme economic crisis. Even the developed countries having strong economies are unable to sustain normal situation in their countries, let alone the under developed countries. My country pakistan is one of those countries which is badly effected by the recent COVID pandemic. It great deteriorated it's economy.
The worse economic conditions effects my family too. Our condition were quite good before, my father is a retired Army officer, we have own house and have a car too before, but these days it's hard for us to manage things. We take care too much buying things and managing house budget.

My family budget is insufficient for all the expenses we have. The price of the accessories and other commodities are now double and triple, which is out of range of many people. Let me give an example; before the price of petrol in Pakistan was maximum 90 PKr, now it's something 288 Pkr. It happened only in 5 years. In 2018 price were 90Pkr and now it's 288 PKr.
The same, dollar price in 2018 was 100Pkr and now it's 284Pkr which is three times too. All the problems are just because of the devaluation of Pakistani currency.
Currently the inflation rate in Pakistan is above 40%. The prices of the things are increased double and triple and the salaries are only increased half. For example of people have 20k salaries before, their salaries now are hardly 30Pkr to 35k PKr. In this tough time it's hard for my family to manage our financial condition.
What have you done to help or how are you all coping with it? What adjustments have you and your family made to be able to cope? |

I got graduation this year from university. First I went to Lahore for a private job with our relatives. I have spent some months there. Then I came here, because I was having research, and found a job at shop for me. Now I left it and have talked to my father's friend, he told me he will keep me a marketing manager at his project. I hope the salary is above 30Pkr.
Plus I have under gone a process for UK student VISA and I hope I will get it. If I get VISA for UK inshAllah I will work there too and I am hopeful I will help my family financially.
Along with all the Steemit is a too good for me. It has made me really financially stable. I don't ask for pocket money from my parents, even I sometimes give money to my Mom. It's the best part time work for me.

Mientras tanto, lo único que se puede hacer es asegurar un empleo que nos asegure, por lo menos, un salario estable para comprar lo esencial. I wish you will get your Visa and you will get an opportunity to work there. I have seen on television that now a days Pakistan is facing hardship of economy and it impacts on normal people. Economic meltdown is an disturbing issue which has caused unbearable pain to individuals, families and the society at large. The inflation of prices due to this economic meltdown is what marveld a lot of people till now. Going to purchase a product but discovered that it's twice the initial price you knew. It's super bad and needs to be worked on. Good luck on your entry.
