Recreation Review

Recreation activities are things we do during our leisure time to relax our minds or free us from any stress at the moment. I will be making some review on two of my favorite activities during my leisure time.

One of the best thing I do during my leisure time is watching movies. In fact, among all the recreational activities I love to do, movie is always at the top of my list, especially when it comes to all the latest Hollywood movies. There storyline are so captivating that you stayed glued to your chair because you don’t want to miss a moment till the movie is over. The visual and audio effects are breathtaking. The more reason I love going to the cinema, if I’m having some left over cash.

Some days ago, I was watching a movie “little mermaid”. The movie reminded me of my childhood memories. I was surprised I could still remember the songs, the names of some of this characters… I just wish I could remember my books like that, I would be carrying first position all the time in school. The intriguing part of the movie was that, special effects were mind blowing, they were able to replicate everything in the cartoon. I really duff my hat for the producer.

Movies is one recreational activity I use to calm my nerves down and escape from reality to Disney world. Sometimes I cry watching movie, the reason I don’t like watching Indian movies. They are so emotional. Even when it’s an action movie, they have the way of turning a stony heart into a jelly hearted fellow.

There was a particular one I watched “3 idiots”. I was expecting it to be a comedy and more of fun between 3 guys. But trust Indians, they made me shed tears just watching the bond shared among this 3 friends. I never expected it. Thank God, I had my kid sisters and some few friends watching the movie with me, I was able to fight the tears from coming out just some few drops fell out, I wonder how it managed to escape from the eyes.

Enough of the movie gist, let’s talk about video games.

If there is one thing that can satisfy me without going hungry from morning till night is a video game. Gaming is another passion of mine that offers endless excitement and challenges. Once I handled the game pad especially if it’s an interesting adventure game… forget it, I won’t sleep again. I can play from night till daybreak, I won’t even feel any ounce of weakness. My eyes will just be glued on the Tv. Except I’m seriously press to used the convenience or whoever I’m challenging keeps defeating me , that’s when I leave the room to take my break

I remembered my first time playing God of war and Grand theft auto. Those games nearly put me in so much trouble back in university just because I wanted to complete the game. It took my school exams to drag me out of the house. I had to move to school temporarily with some of my belongings just for me to concentrate for my exams. But one fun thing about playing video games is the sense of achievement after overcoming tough challenges or winning a strong opponent in soccer, is incredibly rewarding.

In conclusion, movies and video games are not just mere entertainment for me, they’re my way of escaping reality and stress of life. Is a period I don’t think of anything else other than what’s in front of my screen. Both games and movie offer me that moment of joy during my recreational activities
