The Diary Game||28/7/2025|| going for cassava harvesting.

Greetings to all my fellow steemians in this beautiful community is my pleasure to know you all are going well. Am here to share with you my diary game of 28/7/2025, the day I went for cassava harvesting across the river side. That day was so stressful to me depending on my day routine.

morning activity

My mom woke me up very early in the morning me and my brother ahead of what we plan to go that day, as we woke up we spent some minutes with God before doing another things, after that my mom went to prepare our breakfast, my brother was sweeping the compound while I went to check the bike to know if the petrol inside will take us to were we are going but at the process of check my mind told me check the gauge of engine oil if it's still remaining but after checking I discover that both petrol and engine oil was less in our bike and we need to fill in the requirement things for the bike to drive well and perfect.

Arriving my grandma's place

After working on the bike my mom already finished with the breakfast and call us to take after taking our food we begin our journey to itu for cassava harvesting this is what we wanted to do 2 days ago but because of rain we couldn't make it that day, we finally arrived itu my grand mom house unlucky my grand mom was not at home. Now we start moving to the harbour in order to enter canoe to cross the river, the rive is more larger than how is was due to continuous raining, here we waited for an empty canoe to come and carry us cross the river after some time while waiting at the harbour we saw a empty canoe that was about to cross the river.

Arriving the harbour but couldn't find any canoe for crossing to the other side of the river so we have to wait still we found one.

Finally we found someone so help us Cross the river.

The moment we saw the man trying to cross the river we asked him for help " that's to help take us cross the river and the man did all after crossing the river to the other side we noticed that some people's farm is getting flooding we keep going to our own farm to harvesting our cassava. Finally we arrive the farm and so much thank God it was only 10 inch from water surface so we have to harvest everything as soon as possible.

afternoon & evening activities

I thought we won't pass water again until we arrived here, here is the flooding water that pass into people farm and after crossing the water our farm is the next to see

I was afraid of going first because I was thinking the water will be very dip, both my mom and my brother take courage base on the experience the had after passing there to harvest last year.

Anyways I didn't have to panic but just follow I didn't care to know what is inside the water 🥶

So far so good we were able to finished harvesting the hold farm now put all the cassava in the bags it was 6 bags in total of what we harvested then I and my brother take all the bags of cassava to the shore of the river then I call my uncle to come and Carry the cassava to a nearest market that is closer to our Grand mom,
Because my uncle have his only personally canoe but it was not big such that all the cassava and everyone couldn't enter the canoe at once so he need to take only the cassava and me to the shore before coming to carry my mom and my bro. it was really fun taking pictures inside the canoe.

I really stressed a lot that day lastly I drive all the 6 bags of cassava we harvested today to our house using 3 times to complete the drive before going to pick my brother my mom said she won't come with us due to the market she is about to go around there so we should expect her the following day, so I want home with my brother after reaching house I was so exhausted and couldn't be able to do anything my brother did well to prepared a good meal for our dinner after enjoying the meal, I toke my bath and went straight to the bedroom to give my self some rest. all thanks to God for making that day successful.
