Welcome to a new week,We shall be looking at:Division of two digit numbers by one digit number.
Division of two digit numbers by one digit number
Division means splitting into equal parts.It is one of the basic operations in Mathematics.For example if want to divide 12 by 3,it means dividing it into equal parts which gives 4.
The answer obtained after division is called quotient.
Some of these examples will help you to understand and appreciate the topic👇.
Examples
1.)Divide 35 by 2
Use 2 to divide 3 to get 1. Multiply 2 by 1 and Subtract it from 3 to get 1 and then bring down the 5.Divide 15 by 2 to get 7. Multiply 7 by 2 to get 14 which is the subtracted from 15 to get 1.....but 2 is greater than 1,so add zero to 1 and affix point up the division table.
2.)Divide 21 by 2
Use the same procedure as mentioned in example one.
3.)Divide 25 by 3
Use the same procedure as mentioned in example one.
4.)Divide 39 by 2
Use the same procedure as mentioned in example one.
Homework
1.)Divide 45 by 2
2.)Divide 75 by 4
3.)Divide 62 by 5
4.)Divide 25 and 7
•The deadline for the submisson of the homework is 11:59pm on Saturday.
•Only the kids account would be used for the homework.
•This homework is strictly for the kids.Adults can only help to take a picture of the work for them.
