Writing Expedition ✍️ 05 : Have Fun while Writing! (The Diary Game - 09/08/25)

On the 9th day of August 2025, I finally got the opportunity to recruit my friend to steemit after I recently told him about the platform. We became friends since May 2025 and we see each other only on Saturdays and Sundays because we met in the church as he's my church member. Walk with me as I tell you the complete activities of that day.

The weather was very favourable in the morning that if someone had told me that rain will fall heavily that day I won't have believed. I went to church on Saturday just like I always do every Saturday and I carried my bag that day because I needed to branch a betting center to charge my phone and power bank after I complete my business for that day in the church.

When we all finished our primary duty that morning I dismissed all members and Kenneth my friend stayed back so that I can physically teach him steemit and assist him in creating his achievement 1 post. My phone was very low and I was supposed to be in a betting center but I decided to sacrifice my time and teach him properly. We even took so much time performing our duties in the early hours morning. I explained everything in details for Kenneth and I was glad he wash catching up faster.

I had alot to teach him that day and I ensured that I teach him everything he needs to learn that day. There was a football match I was supposed to watch but I couldn't follow the players to the venue for the match that day as that's what I have been doing since the tournament started in July. After explaining alot of things for Kenneth I assisted him in making a writeup for his achievement post and after that I took pictures of the A4 paper. His username is @kenneth001.

We went outside to take picture of him holding the paper. All these while we were the only ones left in the church and everywhere was quiet until when some of the players came to the church to wait for the bus that will take them to where they will play the match. I was very busy that moment and I knew I won't be able to follow them to the place Rain started falling heavily and we had to wait for the rain to stop before we take the picture and after one hour later the rain stopped then I took pictures of Kenneth as he was holding the A4 paper.

The bus arrived in the evening and the players entered and headed straight to the venue for the match. The weather was very cold and some of the players were wishing the match can be postponed because the field they play the match on is always bad each time it rains heavily. I headed straight to the house praying that win the match. If we win the match we will qualify to play in the finals and we eventually won the match as I heard the news that night.

In Kenneth's paper you will see 10th instead of 9th, I told him to write 10th since he said his phone battery is low, he won't be able to create his post that day. I told him to ensure that he finish creating his post before the next day ends. I had a low battery too but I replied to the important messages on my phone and did some few things in steemit before I ate dinner and kept my phone waiting for electricity to be restored so that I can charge it.
