Without wasting much of your time I will quickly narrate an imaginary story written by me 1 year ago.

Nonso's Honesty

Once upon a time there live a sixteen (16) years old boy known as Nonso. Nonso lives with his poor parents in the village. His only brother Ekene goes to school in the city, he lives with their aunty.
Mr. Okeke is Nonso's father, he's a bricklayer while Mrs. Okeke who's Nonso's mother, is a trader in the market. Nonso doesn't go to school anymore because his parents doesn't have money for school fees. He stopped school immediately after his Junior Waec examination.

One day Nonso's friends Lemuel and Chimerie visited him after school, they do this all the time whenever they go to school. They always give Nonso their notes to copy all what they wrote for the day and they normally assist in copying the notes.

Nonso also explain what they didn't understand in school, for then. Even if Nonso wasn't in class, he always understands things quickly, he's a smart and brilliant boy filled with talents. That very day when they were about to leave, Nonso's friends were wishing he could come back to school, they told him that their classmates are missing him. Nonso told his friends not to worry that with time God will bless his parents.

One day Mr. Ibe who's a very old man sent for Nonso, he's Nonso's neighbor and he lives alone with his wife. Their children are all married and they are living in the city, they built house for them in the village. Nonso always runs errands for Mr. Ibe and his wife and this has made him to always receive blessings from them.

Nonso was asked to buy fuel in the filling station that very day and he boarded a taxi on his way to the filling station. A man also entered the taxi, he's a rich man who decided to board a taxi that day than to drive his car. The man known as Mr. Austin got to his destination and left the car.

Nonso saw a briefcase in the car beside where Mr. Austin was sitting and he opened it and saw alot of money in it. He became surprised because he has never seen alot of money like that before. He pleaded with the driver to take him to the place where Mr. Austin stopped. The driver agreed because Nonso was the passenger left in the car.

Nonso saw the man standing in front of a hospital gate looking worried. Nonso greeted him and asked if the briefcase belongs to him. He said yes excitedly and thanked Nonso for bringing it back to him. Mr. Austin told him that if not for him, he won't be able to pay his mother's hospital bill which is NGN300,000 . He also said his mother might die if he hadn't brought back the briefcase on time.

After paying his mother's hospital bill, Mr. Austin told Nonso to show his house to him after he had bought the fuel. Mr. Austin saw his house and Introduced himself to him, Nonso also Introduced himself.

One week later Mr. Austin came back to Nonso's house with two cars. He greeted Nonso's parents and thanked them for training their son well. He gave one car to Nonso's parents and also the key to the new mansion he bought for them. Mr. Austin gave them a cheque of NGN20,000,000 and they were happy. Nonso has transformed the life of his parents as well as his own life. Indeed honesty is the best policy. The End
