Update #102: Writing Expedition ✍️, Have Fun while Writing! (The Diary Game - 05/03/25)

Ash Wednesday 2025 was on the 5th day of March. In my parish there was three masses that day and I planned to attend the first mass at our outstation but I wasn't able to meet up. I was really very busy that morning. I attended the mass in the evening. Ash Wednesday is a holy day of obligation in the catholic which means that is a day catholics must go to church.

I saw that I was late for the mass and the only option I had was to attend the evening mass. I was even thinking of any catholic church that had afternoon mass that day but even if I was aware of any it will be far from my home and I will have to spend money for transportation. I started drawing a superhero that morning because I really needed to prepare for a contest.

I followed the necessary steps and I was taking pictures of each steps too. Batman is a popular superhero in the justice league and he's very unique, he doesn't have any special super powers as he's purely powerful with his own weapons. I made alot of shading in the post and immediately I was done I took a selfie with it. It was a very interesting morning

I had alot to do that evening so I did them quickly before leaving the house to see a friend of mine. I also had some important conversations with my friend online, he needed help on something important and I decided to give him some attention and help him out. After things turned out to be successful he was very happy and he appreciated me from the bottom of his heart, is good to help people we are capable of helping.

I wore my trouser and went to my friend's shop and had a very important conversation with him. He's the one that mostly barb my hair and I was always making use of his clipper charger last year to charge my clipper when I haven't bought a new charger yet. From there I headed straight to the church for the Ash Wednesday evening mass. A large number of people were present.

I was in the church with all my siblings too but my younger brother was the only one who was sitting by my side. The mass was a very interesting one and after the homily offering time was next then after time for consecration ended communion was given to those who wore worthy of it. Prayers were said after that then announcement followed suit.

Our Reverend father decided to end the mass with the final blessings before putting ashes on everyone's forehead so that once they receive the ash they can go home straight. Two lines were formed and everything was done in an orderly manner. I received ash on my forehead and went outside to wait for my siblings to receive theirs so that we can all go home together. There was so much people in the church that night. I arrived home and took a selfie with the ash still on my forehead.
