Your Family Favorite Moment, Which memories your family gathering? by @rossnenye

Hello everyone, good afternoon to you all. Hope your day is going as planned? My family is my everything and I love and cherish them so much. I'm so excited to participate in this contest organized by @uzma4882, thank you so much for this amazing contest. Family is the bedrock of every society, when things go wrong in the family, the whole society is affected. My family is one that is envived by people because of the bond we share. Day by day I keep on thanking God for the gift of a family that loves and cherish me.

I came from a family of eight, comprising of my myself, father, mother and my siblings. Currently we're all grown up and stay in different places. Most times we don't see each other in a very long time. Christmas is my best part of the year because it is the season my whole family both extended and nuclear unites.

We usually travel to Onitsha in Anambra State Nigeria where my parents are based on the 24th of December and celebrate Christmas with them, then on the 26th of December we all travel to our village where the whole celebration holds place. We spend time during that period, cooking, eating, hanging out, playing games and doing so many things together.

We also go to visit my relatives in their various houses. Then on New Year's eve, we usually go to the church for cross over night to a new year. After dancing and praising God for the gift of a new year we usually go back home to pray for the new year. After the prayers, we rejoice and wish each other happy new year. We cook, eat and gist together on new year day.

I love my family so much and I can't wait for another Christmas season to reunite with them again.
