Nnenna lived with her aged grandmother in the village of Ikenga. Every night she and other children in their extended family usually gather around her grand mother and she usually tells them moonlight story. Nneka was a beautiful girl, her beauty shines as bright as the morning star but she was a victim of life circumstances.
She lost her parents few years back to the cold hands of sickness and she had to live with her aged grandmother in the village. She had an uncle who lives in abroad but no one has heard from him in so many years. Despite all her problems, she refuses to give up, she always remembers her father's story of the Iroko tree, it's strong root and branches and it's unwavering spirit.
She decided to never give up on her dreams of being a Petroleum Engineer. she became a beacon of hope and testament of resilience to herself. In all she was passing through, she puts God first. She cleared people's farm, fetch water, ran different errands for people in order to get money to pay her school fees and also take care of her grandmother because her grandma was already aged and couldn't cater for their upkeep. Despite everything, she still strives in her academics.
Few years later her uncle which they haven't heard from in years came back. He told them story of how he was falsely accused and sent to prison and how the person who set him up later confessed and he was set free. Finally her uncle sent her abroad to study and she finally became a Petrochemical Engineer and her dream finally came through.
