What is social issues or problem?
Social problem can be defined as those things that have a negative impact or consequences on a group of people.

List ten social problems in your country
Drug abuse
Insecurity
Rape
Poverty
Prostitution
Women and children trafficking
Drug trafficking
Bad Governance
Armed robbery
Examination malpractice
Tribalism

What are the causes of five of the problem listed?

Drug abuse is usually caused by peer group influence, poor academic performance etc.

Examination malpractice is caused by laziness and reluctant to read and write exam on your own.

Robbery is caused by unemployment and hunger

Drug trafficking is caused by greediness, get-rich-quick syndrome.

Prostitution is caused by bad Governance, unemployment, poverty and hunger.

What is HIV/AIDS? How does it spreads, how can we prevent it?

HIV which stands for Human Immuno deficiency Virus is a Retrovirus which attacks and damage the immune system and renders it to a situation called Immunocompromised, HIV leads to AIDS Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. AIDS is the last stage of HIV. Ar this point, the victim is awaiting death.

How HIV/AIDS spreads

Perinatal, though child birth or breastfeeding.

Unprotected sex.

Needle and razor blades.

Through injection syringes.

Through circumcision.

Ways of preventing HIV/AIDS

Abstinence

Do not share needles and sharp objects with people.

Use personal clippers, if you can't always make sure barbing clippers are sterilized before having haircut.

Incase of exposure to the virus, take PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis)

Mention and discuss two problems of social issues to the following (i)individual, (ii)family, (iii)society

Individual

It can lead to death

It can lead to mental disorder

Family
It can lead to war in the family.

It can also lead to enemity

Society
It can lead to low development in a country.

It can lead to societal unrest.

What is examination malpractice?

This is an illegal act carried out by a student in order to pass an exam

What are some of our activities that are termed examination malpractice?

Carrying expo inside the exam hall

Giraffing

Impersonation

Sorting Lecturers and teachers.
