"Honestly Is the Best Policy." by @rossnenye

Hello friends, good afternoon to you all. Hope you all are doing great? On today's post, I will be participating on a writing contest which says that honesty is the best policy. I will be writing a frictional story.

THE STORY
Onyinye was the only child of her parents. Her parents gave her good upbringing. She was a truthful and honest child, this made her to be loved by everyone in her community.

After her graduation from secondary school, her poor parents couldn't send her to higher institution due to money. Her mom took her to a beauty salon to learn how to make hair, do manicure, pedicure and the rest of them.

Onyinye learnt literally everything within a short while. She was loved by her madam and all the customers because she is good at what she does. This very act made her colleagues to be very jealous of her. The jealous was so bad to the extent that they tried on several occasions to set her up but it all backfired.

Onyinye colleagues hated her also because she was honest. She always refuse to charge their customers highly and collect the remaining money like they do whenever their boss was not around.

One faithful day, her boss was very sick and she couldn't come to the salon. So she called Onyinye to tell her to take care of the shop. That same day, a lady came to the salon to make her hair. When it was 6.00pm, her colleagues left her because that is their normal closing time.
closing time. Onyinye stayed back and finished the woman's hair. When she was closing the shop, she find out that the woman left her bag. She went out to look for her but couldn't find her. She took the bag home and told her parents.

Her dad opened the bag and saw $20,000, a paper containing contract deal worth millions of naira. Very early in the morning of the next day, her father took her to a radio station to make an announcement concerning the bag.

The woman came to the radio station and described everything in the bag and Onyinye adminited that she was the owner and the bag was given to her. The woman was astonished, she didn't know that such honest people still exist. The woman gave Onyinye scholarship to further her education abroad and also promise to make her the manager in her company when she graduate from school.
Truly honest is the best policy.

Moral lessons.
Honesty truly pays.

Honestly make us to get people's confidence and trust.

Even though the reward for honesty doesn't immediately, it will definitely come.
