Hello guys how are you all doing today I hope all is well I'm so happy to be opportune to participate in this amazing contest organized by @simonnwigwe which has the theme "the virtue of obedience" in the steem kids and parents community.

INTRODUCTION

In my entry today I will be sharing with you guys some of the most interesting, reasons, valuable, and most important point about obedience in our daily lives

WHAT IS YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE TERM OBEDIENCE.

Ever since we were kids our parents have taught us to always respect our elders by being obedient to them. And since obedience is an act that needs to be conducted and not a process.

So according to my own understanding the term obedience can be defined as an act of showing respect to our elderly ones and also acting according to set rules and regulations.

IN THE JOURNEY OF LIFE, WHO SHOULD OBEY AND WHY?

According to the scriptures the fourth commandments of God state that "children Honor your father and your mother, that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth" so in the journey of life the first set of people that we should always obey is our parents.

And also we should obey our elders and respect our juniors and also respect our leaders, laws of the land and constituted authorities. Because it is through the obedience of a child that he or she will obtain favor from his/her seniors and also in our community respect and obedience towards one another helps minimize the rate of hate speech and therefore promote unity and togetherness.

DO YOU THINK IT IS PROPER TO BE OBEDIENT AT ALL TIMES. GIVE REASON WHY OR WHY NOT?

It is very much proper to always be obedience at all times, because obedience attracts favor and also Gods blessings, and also once you are obedience you build a good name for yourself.

GIVE A BRIEF ILLUSTRATION WHERE SOMEONE IS EXPECTED TO DISOBEY.

Socrates says that a good life for a man should be a life of virtue cause virtue is knowledge while Aristotle said that a good life for a man is a life of happiness. So ones an elderly person tries to offend your good life by hindering your fundamental human rights you are free to disobey.

HAVE YOU EVER DISOBEYED SOMEONE BEFORE?

As a human which is a thinking being that has consciousness, conscience and tiredness which can over react and loses control when put in a tight spot or condition which is unfavorable.

So yes I have disobeyed someone he was an elderly person who was only concern in his own satisfaction and didn't even care about mine so I disobeyed his orders.

HOW WILL YOU FEEL IF SOMEONE DISOBEY YOU?

Being obeyed and being disobeyed are been govern by the laws of probability, so if someone disobeyed me before I get angry at the person I will first of all check if I was wrong or right 👍🏿, but if I was wrong in treating the person I will just overlook it and amend my ways but if I was right at treating the person then he or she disobeyed me I will just ignore and avoid the person.

CONCLUSION

Disobedience is an attribute which brings favor and blessings to an individual and also builds a good name to an individual but we shouldn't always expect obedience from someone rather we should try and conduct our behavior which will attract respect from the people around us.
