Love For Parents 🥰🥰

Hello friends how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you all are having a nice and wonderful day, today I will be taking part in a contest organize by @afrinn which is titled "Love For Parents 🥰🥰"

The first role models in a child's life are his or her parents. Children look up to their parents in everything they do, and even during playtime, a male child might want to imitate his father's role while a female child might want to imitate her mother's role through cooking and washing.

Parents influences our lives through various ways which includes like the one I'd mentioned above we looking up to them as role models and also them influencing our behaviors and decisions directly through corrections, persuasions and legal discipline.

Parents influence our lives by disciplining and guiding us onto the right track through counseling and supervision, helping us realize our true potential and grow into good citizens.

Here I will have to share out this responsibilities as both father and mother has different role to play in the life of children.

• The father provides food for the family
• The father offers guidance and support
• The father provides safety and security to the child
• The father provides and pays for their basic needs
• The father helps provide a sense of belonging to the child

• The mother supports the child through the various transitional stage of life
• The mother provides emotional support to the child
• The mother provides guidance and education to the child
• The mother provides love, support and overall emotional well being to a child

Now, this is one of the most important parts of the contest: how we (children) should behave toward our dear parents! As children, it is our sole responsibility to obey and honor our father and mother, doing whatever pleases and makes them happy, because raising a child is not easy.

Also, as adolescents or adults, it is our sole responsibility to protect and support our parents. This includes physical, emotional, and financial support. At the same time, we should always try to maintain that level of respect toward them, no matter what they have done or do.

In this our 21st century, well parenting has changed because in the past parents would ensure that their children are on the right track of life through discipline and the good thing about that is that they children would listen and take their corrections.

But now speaking from what I have been seeing in our community today, when parents tries to correct their children what they get in return is insult or possibly running away from home and even to some extent I have seen a child beat up his parents before in etinan local government area.

Which shows you that the role of parenting has changed greatly, children seems to take advise from peers more than their parents own.
