Contest: What are Soical Problems

Hello amazing kids and parents how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you are all enjoying your day, today I will be taking part in a contest organised by @udyliciouz with the theme "What are Soical Problems".

So in my today's entry I will be discussing on the meaning of social issues, it's problems, causes etc and also discuss on HIV/AIDS how it spreads, preventions and lot's more so sit back read on and enjoy.

WHAT ARE SOCIAL ISSUES OR PROBLEMS?

Social issues just as the name inscribed are issues in our society which is often caused by various forms of disagreement and differences in ideologies which at the end breeds out unfavorable condition for the people.

Social issues can further be explain as various societal situation or conditions in which the members of a given community are in an unfavorable societal conditions which can affect them physically, psychologically, mentally etc.

And some of this societal problems are as follows;

• Violation of human rights
• Bias
• War outbreak and pandemic
• Bad governments
• Natural disasters etc.

The above listed problems are the basic things which contributes greatly to causing various social issues that we have in our society today.

LIST TEN SOICAL PROBLEMS IN YOUR COUNTRY.

The Ten social problems that we have in Nigeria are;

• Poverty
• Bad governments
• Poor infrastructural development
• Corruption in high places
• Ethnic problems
• Unemployment
• Abuse of human rights
• Uneven development
• Ideological differences
• Traditional warfare

WHAT ARE THE CAUSES OF FIVE OF THE PROBLEMS LISTED?

BAD GOVERNMENTS

The cause of bad governments in our country Nigeria is due to too much of selfishness by our leaders and the race to claim political powers, in short the political system in our country today is a game to politicians and our leaders are using political offices as a business place.

POVERTY

Over the years the poverty level in our country has continue to in increase instead of decreasing due to high population level which has caused high increase in demand for goods, food, jobs etc and up till now those demands has not yet been met by governments.

CORRUPTION IN HIGH PLACES

95% of our leaders today are all corrupt and even the system ment to check them like the upper house, and independent organisation like the efcc all of them are corrupt and influence by power and blinded by money 🤑.

POOR INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT

During campaign a political aspirant will come out and promise us a lot of things but once there are elected there will ignore and forget all of their promises to the people thereby disregarding the basic necessities of the citizens.

ABUSE OF HUMAN RIGHTS

Today in our country Nigeria we have human rights abuse every here and there and the law chooses to Ignore the right of the common man, we have police brutalizing on innocent citizens for no good reason and rich men treating the commoners like trash 🗑️.

WHAT IS HIV/AIDS? HOW DOES IT SPREAD? HOW CAN WE PREVENT IT?

HIV(human immunodeficiency virus) is a kind of virus that attacks and weakens the immune system of an individual which at the end leads to AIDS (Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) and this is the final stage of HIV which at this stage the body defends system are all destroyed exposing the body to all kinds of infections and diseases.

HIV/AIDS can be spread through various and different ways and channels which are;

• Mother to child transmission
• Unprotected sexual encounter with a victim
• Sharing of Sharp objects
• Blood transfusion

And the various ways of preventing ourselves from contacting this deadly virus are.

• Maintaining and having one sexual partner
• Avoid sharing of Sharp objects
• The use of condoms during sexual intercourse.

MENTION AND DISCUSS TWO PROBLEMS OF SOICAL ISSUES TO THE FOLLOWING: (i) Individual, (ii) Family, (iii) Soicety.

There are various side effects and problems of social issues to an individual, family and most especially the society at large

INDIVIDUAL

• It will affect their physical and mental well being
• It will affect their overall focus in life

FAMILY

• Some social problems turns family members on each other
• It separate family members

SOCIETY

• Social problems breeds bad citizens to the community
• It breeds an unorganized community feel with rebels and gangsters

WHAT IS EXAMINATION MALPRACTICE?

Examination malpractice can be defined as the as the illegal practice by an examination candidate during the exams in other to get higher marks.

MENTION SOME OF OUR ACTIVITIES THAT ARE TERMED EXAMINATION MALPRACTICE.

Some of our activities that is other wise term as examination malpractice are;

• Plagiarism
• Lies
• Cheating
• Fruad
