INTRODUCTION
Hello Great Steemians and a Beautiful day to us all. Today is another day with a very interesting topic titled "Charity begins at home". I appreciate the Admins of Steem Kids and Parents for bringing this topic of discuss to us..
Charity as we know it must begin at home. This simply means that the good we do to others we must first start from our immediate family members and those living around us. cause our closest neighbors to are sometimes considered to be our family members..
Below is my view and perception on the topic Charity begins at home

Charity as said earlier is the good work we do to people who deserve it. because there are some people that don't deserve good will especially the proud...
Charity is simply taking care of the needs of others which includes Finances, health, food stuffs and many more. to those living around you before extending to those far away.
Yes I believe charity should begin at home especially to those around even though they are not biological family but they are also family reasons being that in case of any emergency they are the first to rescue you before your immediate family members who are far do anything.
Doing good to others is a favor and blessings you are doing to yourself especially to those who are desperately in need of it because its a way for more to be added on you the giver.
What is the motivating factor for charity work and is it good to broadcast what you have done for others |

The motive Factor behind giving is to meet the needs of others especially those that don't have and cannot afford, we give them to satisfy their heart desires .
Another factor behind giving is that it attracts blessings from God and mankind. when you genuinely give to someone with good intentions and good heart they release blessings upon you and you continue to prosper.
There are people that give with good intentions and those with bad intentions for example some people give out of pity and many more. but if your intention of giving is genuine and out of love you will continue to prosper..
well it is not good to give and broadcast it to people. when you broadcast it it no longer becomes an act of giving. it is meant to be between you and the receiver.
When was the last time you carried out charity work to the members of your home |

Well i carried out an act of charity to my youngest brothers friend and course mate who is also my friend on Christmas day so he could buy something for himself for the Christmas.
I also bought gift for people who have been of great help to me through out the year. And also for my mom, my kid sister and brother to share in the joy of Christmas.

My advice to others is to develop a habit of giving because giving attracts blessings.
and when giving we should give to those that appreciate and are worthy of our gift because some people don't appreciate the gift given to them by others even our immediate family members which can sometimes be discouraging.
When you give to others, other people will give to you. don't expect gifts from people when you don't give to others.......

A lot of people these days do charity just for media stunt or publicity just to gain followers while their parents are languishing in abject poverty. I love d fact that, u were kind enough by showing your little support for ur brother’s friend. Is indeed, a good charitable gesture. You didn’t forget home!
