The Diary Game || 19/8/2025|| Practical lectures on Gynaecological Instruments.

Hi great Steemians, how are you all? Hope you are all good as for me I'm fine as well. I'm here to tell you how I spent my day today. Today being Tuesday I spent my day mostly in school. I woke up around 5:00am to prepare for school because I had a lot of house chores to do before going to school and I didn't also want to go late so I won't miss my morning lectures which commences by 8am.

Here I am on the road trying to get to class around 7:45am because I don't live inside the school premises I am renting so where I am leaving is a little bit far from school that's why I try my best to be in school on time.

When I arrived in school there wasn't any lecturer then so I decided to take some pictures and videos with my bestie. Some minutes later a lecturer entered the class and we were taught different kinds of instruments used in the hospital and some of the instruments were mostly forceps, and gynaecology instruments.

Let me give a brief explanation of forceps, Forceps are handheld tools used for medical and surgical procedures to hold or grasp objects or tissues. The object can be a cotton wool swaps or a drape and the tissues can be the edge of an open wound or an umbilical cord of a baby etc. Gynaecology instruments are tools mostly used in gynaecology wards for women who have challenges in their reproductive health or women who want to know more about their reproductive health.

The lecture was quite interesting to listen to because the lecturer was very skillful with the explanation she really took her time to explain the instrument one after the other to our understanding, we were also thought on how to perform self best examination to detect any form of abnormalities in the best such and breast lumps and brest cancer. We had many lectures today actually but I really learnt a lot from these two topics mentioned.

So after coming back from school by 3pm I took a shower, ate my lunch and decided to go to the bank to complete my school fees. The transaction was successful and I immediately headed back home to revise what I learnt in school today after that I ate my dinner and am going to bed after posting.
