Hello lovely friends of lovers of kids, am delighted to be a member of this great community of @steemkids, in fact it a pleasure for we the lovers of kids to show how much love we have for our kids as parents, which i will like to share with you the best way to discipline a child, will like to invite @damstyas, @hannahmarfo and @iisaiahmiguell to participate in this wornderful contest.
Discipline: is a practice that help regulate the behavior of people in accordance with the specific system of governance.
As a parent, it is your greatest responsibility to teach your child to behave well. It is one our responsibility that takes much time and patience.
BELOW SHOWS SOME OF THE WAYS ONE CAN DISCIPLINE HIS OR HER CHILD.
A. Parents or guardians should teach children right from wrong with calm words and actions, not necessarily shouting at them, mode them behaviors you would like them to have.
B. Set clear and consistent rules that your children can follow, and also try to explain the rules in an appropriate way for them to understand.
C. Camly states and explain the consequences of them going contrary to the rules. For example you can away their football or toy when misbehaving and give it back to them another day, but please do not take away something they truly need like meal.
D. Listen to their story and help solve the problem, whenever there is misunderstanding among his or her peers, rather than punishing.
E. Give the child much attention, because it is one of the most crucial tool for discipline, since it helps you to reinforce desired behavior and discourage undesirable behavior, and have it in mind that children needs their parents attention more than any other thing.
F. Parents need to cheer their children up when they live up to expectation, in order to encourage them. For example, saying "wow" you have done well my boy or girl, i love you!
G. Parents should not always beat the child for doing wrong, also teach the child the implications it will naturally have on him or her for his or her wrong deeds, because sometimes beating does not prevent a child from doing wrong.
H. Parents should not use harsh and hurt words on the child because they cause emotional stress and mentally unstable, also do not always punish them but can warned them, since all this can be harmful to their health, but discipline aims at bring up healthy people.
In conclusion this are some of the best way one can discipline his or her child to be come responsible in the community as well as the country at large.
