Introduction

Hello great men and women of timbre and Calibre in the community@steemkids. It's you friend @pato84. I am super excited to join in this contest because it is goin to provide me with the opportunity to perform the first power up ever since I joined steemit even though my steem power has never ran dry.Welcome to my blog.

What Does Club5050 Mean

Permit me to define this with a little bit lengthy illustration. Pardon me here please!
The first time I ever heard the word fifty fifty (50/50) was when I had accident with my Haejoe rubber rubber bike. It was at a roundabout, the commercial cyclist refused to follow the driving rules of navigating and negotiating the bends at the roundabout by turning round instead he followed one way traffic on a very speedy motion. And I was unsuspectingly riding on my lane. Accidentally the man ran into my lane I tried dodging but could not so he ended up hitting me on the side of my front wheel and I fell on the road alongside the bike. He damaged the front wheel, the front shock absorbers, the headlight, the front and back mouldguards, the gear leaver and foot rests. I wanted involving the Road Safety but the pleadings from the crowd that father at the scene softened my mind. So the elderly man who witnessed all what happen and how it happened, while mediating between us apportioned blames on the guy and then said apologetically that we should share and bear the loss 50/50. At first I never comprehended what he meant, but when I now inquired, he said we should calculate the cost of the repair and share it equally between us. Which implies that if the repair would cost 500steems then, he, the defaulter should take 250steem while I the victim should also take 250steem.
I think this illustration is also in line with the concept behind the initiative and introduction of CLUB5050. That is to say instead of sweeping empty whatever enters your wallet on steemit, you should have some reservoir that is called STEEM OWER and this is achieved by the prices of POWERING UP. If it possible, divide whatever you make on steemit into two, leave one part as steem power and take the other part.

What Are The Benefits?

There is no gainsaying the fact that there are a lot of benefits accruing from joining Club5050 except if one does not understand the concept and idea behind it.
Permit me to be a little bit scriptural here.
As a bible student and a Bible believing student. I will like the #club5050 and Powering Up to the injunction to Return Tithes in Malachi 3:10 God says:

"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be plenty of meat in mine house, AND PROVE ME NOW HEREWITH, saith the Lord of hosts, IF I WILL NOT OPEN YOU THE WINDOWS OF HEAVEN, AND POUR OUT A BLESSING, THAT THERE SHALL BE NO ROOM ENOUGH TO RECEIVE IT.

You see here God is the giver of all things because the Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, yet he is still the one requesting that we return just one-tenth of all what he has given not because he is in lack . But the intention is to test our stewardship and obligation to Him and thereafter unleash immeasurable blessings upon us for heeding his instructions.
So also the steemit team through the initiative of #club5050 intend to bless every one who shows their stewardship by subcribing to the #club5050 via powering ups.
It inculcates in one the habit to power up more and case out less. Or better still power up amount commiserate to the cash out.
It guarantees self-sufficiency and self,-reliance.
It helps people increase their influence and reputation.
It helps to build the steemit ecosystem.
It gives one voting power.
It helps to attract investors with confidence and double assurance that their investments is secured

How Can You Join, If You Have Not Joined,What Did You Do To Join?

I have just joined the club by the virtue of this contest and this is how I achieved this . I was having a total of 38.719 Steem, 2.338 SBD and 45.524Steem power .
So I first converted my 2.338SBD to Steem which made my steem to be .... sum total so I decided to power up 50steem bringing my steem power to 95.524 while I just have 16.972 steem left . By implication it means the amount powered up far more outweighs the amount left/transferred away from my wallet. and I hope to replicate this as often as I earn so as to achieve a 100+ steem power by the end of this week .This is my primary and ultimate hence I know that there is nothing to lose when you power up instead it will be gain, gain, gain.....to infinity.

I was able to power up more than 50% of my total earning. I did this by converting my 2.338 SBD to steem and it gave me a total of 66 steem because I was having 38 steem in my wallet.

I am so happy that finally I have successfully joined the club5050. In this regard I encourage those that have not joined to do so because I have discovered that it is a way of saving too.

How Long Will You Be In The Club5050?

As for me as long as the club lasts I will ever remain in it. And how I intend to achieve this is by constantly powering up. And not just powering up as per say but ensuring that I have a corresponding value of steem powered up and steem transferred from my wallet.

Is Joining The Club Compulsory Or Optional?

Having said all what I said above. I will say that joining the club5050 is a voluntary act and a personal choice that is loaded with great privileges . Though it is not mandated or imposed on anyone but I will say that anyone who wish to remain relevant on the steemit world ought to consider it worthwhile and key in in the club5050. Because accumulating enough Steem Power makes you a commando, lord, delegator and invariably a curator in steemit world.

When Should The Tag, #Club5050 be used

This is not a common nor ordinary tag that anyone can use anyhow.
First it is exclusively meant for those who have joined the #club5050 by powering up half of their steem earnings.
Secondly, apart from joining the club, you need to maintain and renew your membership therein after every seven days from the last power up. It then means. You are eligible and entitled to use the harsh tag in every post you made with the seven days period of you your power up. For instance, as I have joined the #club5050 by powering up 50steems today Tuesday 26th October 2021, my membership and entitlement to use the harsh tag in every post I make remains valid till Monday 1st of November 2021. If I don't renew it then I am no longer eligible to use the harsh tag. This is how I understand. Though I stand to be corrected and observed as well. To further buttress my point here, the tag #club5050 can only be used each time you make a power up post of which you anticipate recognition and support votes from the steemit team. Otherwise the tag should not be used on diary posts
