I am sure that most of you know about the Autobahn which is a federally controlled highway or motorway system and first build in Germany and later in other countries. Today we take a closer look at the German Autobahn.

It is fast – In de-restricted areas you can drive as fast as you want although 130 km is the advisory speed limit.
The fastest speed recorded was that of a Mercedes-Benz W125, a whooping 432.59 kilometers per hour.

It is visited by many – Not only is the Autobahn visited by millions traveling on this road but also by gamers who love the Autobahn as a backdrop for video games.

It has plenty of benefits – Believe it or not, the Autobahn has benefits. It is controlled, the road is well maintained, it is convenient, and it lower vehicle maintenance costs just to name a few.
